Glow in the Dark Short Glow Photoluminescent Egress Tape 1/2"x 5ft

I bought this tape after my very pregnant sister-in-law fell off the edge of her dining room into her living room (whose floor is about 2 feet lower)while walking around in the semi-dark.Straight out of the box I had my brother lay a strip across the edge of the living room's top step. Having never experienced firsthand 'glow in the dark' material, we thought it was not working because it did not glow that night, however after being exposed to sunlight the next day, it did glow the second night - but not all night long. (Maybe it is more-sun-longer-glow?)Since then I have stuck pieces of tape on strategic parts of the hands and numbers of my clock and the bedroom light switch. I also enjoy sticking pieces in odd places and mystifying/terrifying my other family members when they try to figure out where the 'light' is coming from.

I just received this product. Whether this tape does its job or not, I'm so over being deceived. The depth of the tape surrounding the inner cardboard is actually less than the photograph shows. Also, the tape shoes green in the picture. It's actually white. Maybe they thought green would represent a glow or something, but it doesn't glow green either. Briefly, this product was misrepresented and I will return it. I know it's only a few bucks, but it's the principle of it.

It is a tiny roll. So not enough for what I was wanting. Would of taken 5-6 rolls for my project.

Misleading not worth it!! Sooo disappointed! !!
