HanYan 20mm × 1.5 Metric Thread Milling Taps HSS right Hand Taps 20 ×1.5 mm

I didn't have high expectations, I ordered it and started regretting it. However, when it came I was surprised. The metal is hard, the teeth are sharp, straight, and the butt was square. I needed this due to a stripped M14x1.50 subframe housing. The previous owner must have blasted these bolts in. Anyway, the subframe rear pitman housing was stripped. I used this to rethread the hole. The key to this is doing it slowly. Go a couple threads in, back out a line and repeat. I used WD-40 to help the threading process. No issues getting the car back together. I'd recommend this to a friend.

Finally someone with a reasonable price for this tap, even my local stores insisted that 14x1 wasn't a thing. We only had to use it once, but the project was working on a bronze fitting to convert a quick connect fitting to one that would work with our stupid HSN proprietary fitting pressure washing connectors. Went through it just fine and my existing pressure washer wand threaded on perfectly, no leaks.

Needed for a General Motors Steering Column disassembly to replace an ignition switch, Shaft locking plate pusher tool I made. The tap appears of top quality and cut well into a grade 5 extension Nut, bored to 0.500 inches, using tapping oil.

The perfect tool for fixing minor problems with my small Honda engine's spark plug threads caused by a prior cross-threading of the plug. I coated the flutes with some wheel bearing grease to catch any shavings and it did a fine job.

I used this to machine a small thread protector for the end of a rifle. I used some good quality stainless and this tap had no issues and provided a clean cut.

I have not used it yet but it looks to be well made, Nice clean grinds and finishes. I have no doubt it will work for what I'm tapping in aluminum.

I ask for a 14mm x 1.5 but I guess they can’t read because I received 14mm x 1.25 maybe they are playing a joke on me , good one you got me !

Worked well, not sure about the quality of the metal, but it didn't break off on me when I was re-tapping my oil pan
