I collect tops. From small and cheap to intricate and expensive, +$400. If I had to choose only one to keep, it would be this one. Sure it doesn't spin as long, but because it is slender, small and still heavy, it feels great in the hand and pocket, is still beautiful when spinning, is perfectly balanced, and has amazing death-throws. It appears to speed up as it slows down, very cool.

My grandchildren and I have collected spinning tops for awhile now. The weight on this miniature top is substantially heavier than our others. I was so frustrated as I could not get a proper spin on the top. My nine year old granddaughter attempted numerous spins all to no avail. She set the top between her palms and rapidl flicked one palm against the other to release the top. The girls were thrilled when this top spun for nearly five minutes. I might as well admit my technique is wretched. The girls just love this tiny top I look at it and just become frustrated.

I took a chance with this one because there were no reviews or indications about who or where it was made. But I liked the look of it and decided to give it a chance. When it arrived I opened and noticed it was imported and was a little let down but the top looked just like the picture very clean and polished. I inspected it closely before spinning and couldn't find a single thing wrong that would lead me to believe it was cheaply made or of low quality materials. Its a different shape than most of mine and my first spin looked awkward but to my amazement it went from a looping sway to a perfectly upright and static spin super quickly. So far I have achieved a couple spins close to 6 minutes. Pretty good I thought for the price and size of the thing. (i payed $10 less than current price) I will purchase another kind from these guys and see how it turns out.

Doesn't compare to the other six tops I have. Hard to spin. Too much weight at bottom of top. I will keep to practice technique. If this was my first would have never bought another.

Dislike is the operative word I couldn't get the thing to spin I try'd and try'd and try'd and just couldn't make it work sorry.

This top is weighty, well balanced, and beautiful. I'm very happy with it.
