I got this because we were trying to get our infant adapted to sleeping in the crib, but she seemed to hate the open space of the crib mattress, even when swaddled. So we tried it and although the first night was tough, she adapted to it pretty quickly and now can sleep for 3-5 hours at a stretch at night. The cool thing is that she can move around in the hammock, but can't really go anywhere in it, so if she doesn't like swaddling and wants to thrash around, she can do so as much as she wants.The one con I have about this is minor... it would be great if the straps could be tightened another inch or so. Our baby is 5 months now and even with the straps as short as they can get she is already starting to get low in the hammock as she grows, so we may only have a couple more months this is useful. But all in all, I would and have recommended this to other sleep deprived parents that just need their baby to sleep for a few uninterrupted hours at night.

My daughter loved this so much that she fell asleep moments after laying down. She is 12 weeks old. Color is beautiful and clearly brand new. Very pleased.
