Comfortable
Bought these for a pair of trainers that are slightly too large; don't help at all in that regard so if you're considering them for that, you'd be better off with thicker socks. That being said they're comfortable and nicely cool when you put them on. Saw others complain about the adhesive being too strong, but I wear them for working out and after a month one has already come loose. Doesn't bother me because they're a snug fit, but if I wanted to take them out and put them in other shoes, it'd be no problem. If you are worried about the glue you can always wash it off.In retrospect, they're a bit of a wasted purchase for me because I don't really need them, but I've kept them in regardless and if you're heel heavy or have worn away at the back of your shoes they could be a good buy.

Ok. I've had better.
They offer good support under the heel cup. However they annoy me on the sides on my heels. Unsure why. Maybe too wide or too small. I'm disappointed as I got two pairs. Wouldn't buy again .

THESE HELPED A LOT!
I injured my feet over a period of 18 months, partly by wearing socks about the house instead of slippers due to a fungal nail infection followed by further injury caused by wearing sandals that had no footbed cushioning and walking very fast on a pavement, on a steep downhill slope (feet repeatedly striking a hard surface). I'd never heard of either heel fat pad syndrome or plantar fasciitis but my symptoms correlated with those conditions (which can be similar and can be caused/not helped by the above scenarios). Over the last 4 months I've used the thick versions of these inserts inside knitted trainers that I now wear around the house. I placed them on top of a supportive leather insole, also found on Amazon. Very slowly, my heel pain improved to the point where it has now almost gone (it does return a bit after a longer day of walking say if I go to a large town for the day particularly if wearing different shoes). They've been SUCH a lifesaver - walking, first thing in the morning had been really quite painful and I feared I'd done permanent damage. I'm so relieved to have tried these when I did - I'd put off doing anything (thinking/hoping it'd go away on it's own) for several months, taking the odd anti-inflammatory, but after reading about heel fat pad syndrome I learnt that leaving things without proper treatment would make it worse, eventually - and maybe permanently. The inserts stick to the leather insole well. Each month or so, enough dust, grit etc has built up between this and the leather that they stick less well and start to move about, but a quick rinse under the tap last thing and leaving them to dry returns them to their original tackiness. This summer I've worn these with no-show trainer socks and came across a couple of useful ways to use them; 1) To stop no-show socks sliding down, cut away a sliver of the doubled fabric (pinch the fabric together at the heel) across the heel, West-to-East (only a mm to two wide as the hole stretches and also you need to leave enough width at the back to prevent the shoe rubbing there). They fray a little in washing, but not too bad. 2) if you use this product and stick it to a removable insole of some sort, try adding a pair of no-shows (leave them complete - and upside down this time) to completely cover the whole insole-with-this-support-added (the sock opening is then downwards and it's sole becomes the upper surface). Then, if wearing the cut-out socks (tip 1), your bare heel doesn't stick to this silicon wedge and it also helps everything stay clean. I REALLY hope this helps to find workarounds for your heel pain - and that it starts to get better very soon.

Good fit and cost effective
I bought a few pairs of these as my heels tend to rub the back of shoes badly and it works wellThe ones I had previously from a sports shop cost a lot more but these were actually thicker and should last longer although I know the rubber will eventually crumble. They were bigger than I expected but still fit into every shoe, the only fault I'd say is they are quite high so you may fee a ridge between your sole level and the rubber height. Please note these are adhesive so can only be used in on pair of shoes
