Peanuts Snoopy Doghouse Sculpted Ceramic Cookie Jar

I keep my doggy treats in there and it makes me smile every time I look at it thank you

I wanted a cookie jar that would last for years and be handed down to the kids. I liked it but when we make cookies we make 2 to 3 dozen roughly 4 inches in diameter or shaped for holidays like a Christmas tree. I knew when Iopened it that it would never hold a whole batch. Just too small. Am still looking.

I am such a snoopy fan. I grew up with snoopy on his dog house and when I saw this cookie jar, I new I had to add it to my collection. Overall the cookie jar is good--very good likeness of snoopy and woodstock.My only objection is that the lid does not completely meet the base so that you can see some of the white insides of the cookie jar. I almost sent it back because I was so disappointed. It ruined the look. This flaw (as far as I am concerned) did not show in the picture on the sales page or on the box--which I find very misleading.I did keep it because I decided to use some red electrical tape to hide the visible white from the inside. But for the price that I paid...I should not have had to.

It's cute but I wish there was a gasket between the jar and lid
