I really do not like writing reviews, but in this case, I cant help it.I purchased these bits for use in cleaning out holes in 3D printed parts that are modeled with threads in place. One would expect a tap or die to last forever in this case. I am not sure about the larger sizes, but as I do quite a bit of work with 3mm, That is what was most needed and the tap broke on extraction of the first hole.This was with very soft PLA plastic and all I can say is I must have had a bad tap or something as I quite often use a standard 3mm screw to clean the threads and they work fine but "burns" the thread in rather than cutting any anomalies out of the hole.I hope the seller reads this and at least attempts to make it right.

I rushed to buy this item not reading completely only to find out it was metric, my fault.Although I haven’t been able to use all the taps yet, I have used the smallest one to tap about 12 holes using a drill. It cuts threads with ease and it didn’t break, only time will tell how good these really are. All in all, if I was looking for a metric tap set, I would definitely buy this one. I’m only giving for stars because I haven’t been able to use them all, also don’t forget proper sized drill bits.

these taps work but only 1 time in steel - the cutting burrs strip with the first use in steel I broke 2 on the first try - having said this I did manage to tap threads in an important part I needed so the low price is worth it if you're able to get one right - I will probably buy these again with the understanding it's a one time shot

These have worked well in aluminum...I know they look like drill bits but they are not intended for drilling, use a drill to make hole of correct size...then run tap through hole....proof threaded hole.

As described, but corse threads only in packet, it turns out that I needed fine threads

I have only used it on plastic and aluminum. So far they both work perfectly and match exactly with my metric screws!

They may work fine on sheetmetal, but are not made for anything thicker than 3mm. I tried to get off cheap, it didn't work out.
