NAOT Women's Kata Sandals

This was my first pair of Naots (I ordered two styles, kept these, and have since bought a pair of ‘sneakers’ from this brand as well.) I had never heard of this brand and am not a sandal person. But I needed really good, suppportive shoes so I could walk around Italy (and life in general) despite my painful, problem feet and knees—including one that’s recently been replaced, and one that still needs to be.These shoes are/were immediately really comfortable and really supportive. This footbed is amazing! Great arch support. And the sole is thick, non-slip, and provides solid, cushioned, support.I double-crossed the laces in the middle at first (between the two loops) until I got use to having something rubbing a little at the front of my ankle (I wanted them tight), but got over that pretty quickly. I love the extra support the laces and the piece at the back of the heel provide for my ankles. I love the fact that my toes are covered and enclosed (and stay clean!).These are super-comfortable, supportive, shoes that stay on without any effort or slipping, and are kind of funky/cute enough to go with anything. (I ordered them in the light tan.) As comfortable as my favorite New Balance without that ‘I’m-wearing-gym-shoes’ look. My only complaint is that one shoe squeaks—well, not so much squeaks, as sounds like I’m stepping on a small, but VERY annoyed, frog. I hoping (hopping?!) that will go away eventually, but I like these so much that I’m willing to put up with it for a bit.I understand that Naot has several different footbeds—this one has the arch support I need, and, in combination with this great sole (a little hard to describe, but it’s both solid and soft), works for me. I bought another pair of Naots with this same footbed and sole in a sneaker style, and they’re great as well. I don’t know why they have to be so unbelievably expensive, but for me it’s the difference between walking and not, so totally worth it.

Love this shoe but had to return the size 9 as too short. I’m a solid size 9 and my toes were cramped. Returned shoes for the next size up & they fit perfectly. The return was very easy & very quickly sent out again. I really appreciated that. The only con are the laces. They have a coating on them that allows them to come untied easier than they should but not a big deal. The shoe is very pretty & I’ve received several compliments on them. They are a little pricey for me but I plan on getting another pair in a different color. NAOT brand was recommended by my podiatrist for casual/dress shoes due to my hammertoes. I positively Love these shoes and so do my feet!

I saw these on a shopping channel last week and feel in love - women everywhere understand this! They had the grey iguana which is what I landed on to be universal if you will for shades of denim and with black. They look good on and feel good too but now that I have the grey I'm disappointed that the highs and lows in materials used is not that noticeable. I opted to also try the gorgeous british tan from the tv channel, same price, no s/h there and on easy pay to try them. The colors used in this one make this shoe a real stunner. I may keep both but WOW are these pricey for something I typically purchase. I treat myself now & then - this is a now!

I loved the look of these, and I think they'd be very comfortable for someone who doesn't have any sort of bunion or particularly wide feet. While the inside of the toe part is lined in very nice smooth fabric, there is a seam that cuts across the widest part of my foot, right across my tailor's bunion. I knew immediately they wouldn't work for me, because even with stretching, that seam would bother me. So bummed to send them back, it's a struggle to find closed toe, closed heel sandals with some style to them.

I love the look, however, the right shoe is cut lower than the left shoe and cuts across the upper joint of my little toe. Therefore, they are not as comfy as I hoped they would be. I would return and replace them, but I bought them for a trip and there isn't time for that. Boo hoo. Expensive sore feet.

So, I really really loved these shoes - they are well made and an awesome style - but they were just a bit to narrow for my foot. Description says that they are returnable - however - not only did I have to pay over $5.00 to return them, but because they were sent via USPS and have to be returned by UPS - I can't use the box they came in - which means more time and expense. I am really disappointed Amazon. I chose to order them from you rather than Zappos - (who has free return)....never again.

I size up in NAOT since this isn't my first pair. I have high arches and these fit very well and love the style color and leather. Very well made. :)

Extremely comfortable. I had foot surgery and just overall bad feet. These shoes give me new "feet." I actually walk without fear of pain and in great comfort. Love them.

These shoes are amazing! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the inner corner of the footbed is really hard and digs in, so you have to wear socklets, you can’t wear bare feet. They are super comfortable for all day wear, and perfect for narrow small feet. The heel rubs if you don’t have heel grips in.

Very thin sole.
