$10 gift in exchange for 5-star review? Ugh. Not very secure. Knobs are a bit of a hassle.
First of all, I don't like it when a seller sends me an offer for a free gift (or discount) in exchange for a positive review, because it skews the number of 5-star reviews given. I bought this bike cell phone holder because of the reviews, and now I see why there are so many positive ones... a month after receiving the holder, I received a letter saying that they would give me a $10 gift card in exchange for a positive review. Uh... no. I won't become part of the scam that I was a victim of, thank you very much.Second, this cell phone holder is just okay. I really have to crank hard on the 4 different knobs to make sure it holds my phone correctly without rattling or rotating downward as I ride. And one of the knobs is tough to crank down on because of its positioning.Additionally, it sure would be nice if it had a memory setting so it would remember the size of my cell phone with the push of a button each time I put it back into the holder. Instead, it requires tightening down on 2 knobs to keep it in place (one knob adjusts it to the size of the phone and the 2nd knob keeps the 1st knob in place) Kind of a hassle, but I'm dealing with it. And, of course, both knobs must be loosened to remove the cell phone. It would be so much nicer to have a button to clamp onto the phone and then push again to release it.

Perfect for Spin Bike!
I purchased this to use on the center of my spin bike. Although the mount part is a little deep/large, it works well! The mount is adjustable so I can angle it however I want (up or down, side to side). The frame part that holds the phone is very adjustable using a turn-style knob at the back to open and close the four corners. Once adjusted around the device, there is a locking knob that holds it very securely in place! I don't ever feel like the device will fall out, and it's very easy to get it into place (an issue that I've struggled with using similar mounts with rubber holds). Overall, I'm very happy with the product!

Loosens and rattles
I've only used it for one long ride so far, going through a park and riding on roads through traffic. There are 3 things to tighten when you put it on the handle bar--the piece that latches to the handle bar seems really secure so that's good, there's a knob you can tighten so the screen doesn't swivel around too much which I couldn't get fully secure but secure enough where it didn't move around when I was biking so that was all good too. The issue is the knob that then tightens the four corners that fit around the corners of your phone that hold the phone onto the mount.Within just a few seconds of starting to bike, I noticed it was rattling quite a bit. I thought maybe I just didn't attach it on securely enough, so I pulled over and tried to tighten all of the knobs as much as they would go, and it was clear that the one that was the problem was the phone holding the phone to the mount. Once I readjusted things, the phone was then held as snug as it could be, so I started biking again, and again within a few seconds it started to rattle. For the rest of the ride, I had to reach around while I was biking every minute or so to try to tighten the knob, but that's also a little awkward to do with the way that knob is positioned on the mount and around the handle bar. When I was at a light or something I'd pull over for a second to try and re-tighten it again as much as it would go, but it never stuck and would rattle again within seconds of biking again. I wasn't riding on perfectly smooth roads but you never are, it was pretty standard city road terrain, and good for the city honestly, nothing crazy like big bumps or pot holes or long stretches of jagged or rocky pavement.I re-tightened often enough where it didn't get to the point of being so loose the phone would pop out, but I did worry that if I didn't re-adjust the knob as often as I did, it would eventually be a problem. As it stands, it just rattled the whole time and made me anxious the entire ride that my phone would snap out of the holder.I've been looking for a while for something to mount my phone on my bike so I could have a map while I ride. It was really nice to be able to do that, but with the rattling and constant sense of anxiety that my phone would pop out of the mount and break on the pavement, I think I'm going to look at other options.

Decent but Flawed for me
I was happy with this at first but two items turned me off in the long run. First the mechanism to hold the phone is cumbersome. To add remove and tighten requires a bit of twisting and turning. That leads to twisting and turning and moving the mount. The mount comes with a layered gasket to compensate for different size mounting bars. Due to motion those tend to wiggle out and once you lose them, the mount is useless. I lost both of mine within 2 months and I'm not replacing the mount with ones that don't use gaskets to fill the gap.

This is the second one that I bought.
I first bought one long a while ago and I liked how well it holds onto my phone. So when my wife phone holder broke, I bought another one. I gave it four stars because it takes a while to put my phone in every time. I have to loosen a screw in the back to open it, put my phone in, and then screw it back tight again. It takes a little bit time. I’ve seen other one that uses a elastic band to attach the phone and those literally takes seconds to put it on. So I’d say this is a little bit troublesome to use.

Worth the $
This thing is great! I use it on my cannondale cx1 which sees city commute and rails to trails rides. This phone holder works fantastic for the $. It holds my pixel 2 solid while I ride. Sometimes after 10-15 miles the vibrations will start to loosen the nut on the swivel joint and will start to droop. I can tighten it while riding so it's not a big deal. Even going 15mph through some chunky gravel this thing holds my phone tight.

A Quite capable Phone Mount
I mounted this to a Kick Scooter instead of a bike so I had to add an extra layer of thin rubber around the handle bar to mount this. I've accidentally dropped the Scooter with this mounted to it and had survived each fall thus far. At one point, it even had my phone still on it and the fall was strong enough to have shattered the cheap screen protector on the phone but this case held up just fine.

Pure cheap garbage
You put this on a bike or scooter and your phone will flip around all over the place... Noting stays put. I could have hung my phone from a piece of string and had a more sturdy mount. Huge waste of money. Cheap for a reason.
