This work vest is cut in such a way that you have complete freedom of movement through the shoulder and waist while the longer tail covers your waistband in case your work pants tend to dip a little when weighted down. The medium fits me very well as a lean 6' guy with a 40 or 41' chest. If you're worried about the waist being too tight, let me assure you, I wear mine over several layers with my pants at my waist (instead of hanging off my butt) and while it's close to the body (Safety first guys!), it's not restrictive.The sherpa lining is warm and soft against the neck. It layers very well, and in Sandstone I've found it to be a pretty stylish, rugged option with work pants and a long sleeve button-up when I go to make bids or just with nice jeans and a Henley to go run errands or down to my local pub.If I had to find fault in this vest, I do wish the front hand pockets were just a touch taller but my Cordless drill (Rhymes with "default") fits well enough that I can park it there to climb a ladder or whatever. Also, the front chest "map pocket" is outside the lining so in VERY cold weather I don't recommend you put your smartphone there.As for the seller, the item arrived exactly as described with no extraneous packaging and right on time. Great piece of workwear at a competitive price.

Perfect for working, hiking or camping outdoors.Yes....the zipper is on the opposite side, but I didn't really care.The size is way off: in any other similar jacket (Columbia, Cabelas....) I would be a LARGE.In this case, I ordered the XXL and it fits me perfectly!

 I love the vest so much. It's put on for many occasions, such as fishing, hiking,travelling, camping,hunting and so on. Of course, I wore it yesterday , it's so soft and warm, perfect for the cool day.There are six pockets outside and an inner pocket, good for the outdoor events.The wool inside made me feel warm and comfortable.Have to say a good choice for such a wonderful style vest.

This was a gift. Its a very nice vest, warm and heavy duty, especially for someone who works or spends a lot of time outdoors. The material is sturdy and the lining is warm.

There was only one thing my husband wished it had and that was slit pockets to keep his hands warm. Otherwise he loves it. There are so many other pockets he can carry things in.

Bought this for my grandfather for Christmas because he loves all the pockets, but it was too small for him :(

Wished I'd read more reviews on the sizing, ordered his usual size and it definitely was too small, had to exchange. Other than that he loved it. Good quality, looks nice too.

I thought the item was OK and what I expected in the way of material and design but the size was extremely small. I wear between an XL and XXL. I ordered XXL got a 4XL but the size is at best a medium. It was probably 8 inches or more short at the waist and I could barely get it over my shoulders. Makes no sense, I have never had something fit this poorly that I've ordered on line through Amazon.
