First time IPL user. I have been using this IPL for 2 months and have done 5 sessions. I am pretty happy with the results I have already. Keep in mind IPLs are not an instant fix and will take time and consistent dedication.So I pretty quickly turned the unit up to level 5 over 3 sessions, usually 1 session a week. (I started at 3 to make sure my skin wouldn't have a reaction.) Even on the highest setting I felt no pain, no burns, and have only had the slightest sensitivity (similar to a slight sunburn) that lingered on my arms for maybe an hour. I've had no issues on my legs, biking, or armpits. I have quite a few patchy spots on all areas now. Most hairs are noticeably thinner than their few larger neighbors. I am pretty fair skinned, freckley, and have dark blond/brown hair on arms and legs.Time for each area is pretty accurate as listed above:Arms- 5 mins each armArmpit- 2 mins eachBikini- 5 minutesLegs- takes the longest, around 40 minutes a leg but I am 6ft tall.The device does have some warnings. It does use a very bright bulb so don't stare it, especially with out the eye protection on. It also emits a poping sound when the light flashes, and will get very very warm, similar to a halogen bulb. To prevent over heating I do my, treatments in short burts, and will usually do my legs on a separate day from other body parts. If your skin it not held taught in fleshy areas YOU CAN burn yourself by touching the bulb covering. Make sure you clean it as well so dirt and skin oils don't burn to it.I am going to try and attach a photo that shows my arm before use, 1 week after 3rd use, 1 week after 4th use, and 1 week after 5h use.

I have had very resistant chin hair for as long as I can remember. I started electrolysis at 21 to remove them but since they took abt 2 min to do and I had to by 15 min of time and as of today, most of the rest of my body is hairless, except the *=%! Chin hair. I also tried laser but no luck. I am so tired of tweezing or forgetting a couple that seem to grow 1/4 inch a day. This IPL device is my last hope. It functions well, so far. I’ve followed the easy to use directions for abt a mo 1/2 now but haven’t seen any improvement. I understand the hair cycle and know it will take more than 6 months to know if this works. Fingers crossed 🤞

I got this three months ago, and used it for about 2 weeks before life kicked in and I forgot about it. I took it back up a week ago, so I've used a combined 3 weeks I suppose. I've been focusing on the underarm and bikini areas, and plan to move on to others when finished with these 8 week runs.I am already seeing results, though they are small so far. The hair in both areas is lighter in volume and are easier to shave. I have very dark hair, probably level 1 or 2, and extremely pale skin.The instructions are very clear, very thorough, and the kit includes everything you will need to start. The flash is pretty bright, I recommend closing your eyes and looking away in addition to the red glasses. It's a great system I think, certainly better than paying thousands for professional hair removal. I will post an update in a few weeks when I've done this consistently for the directed 2-3 sessions per week for a total of 8 weeks.

October 29th 2020: After nearly a year of use, I have to say what it did was delay growth. What I thought was permanent hair removal turned out to be delayed growth because it all came back. ALL OF IT. Course this happens way after the time period to return the item. Save your money and go to a pro.*********I was very skeptical when I bought this because I've bought so many "too good to be true" items over the years that turned out to be duds but this one actually works. I only wish I had bought it sooner. I've been using it for almost 1 month now and I would say about 80% of the areas I've treated are now hair free. I couldn't be happier. I've had zero pain and zero side effects and would purchase this item again in a heart beat.

I got this 2 weeks before Christmas probably. It does seems to have decreased the hair growth. I am shaving more than before simply because you have to shave to use it but it is taking longer for growth to be as noticeable. We will see after a few more weeks. May update my review if needed. Not giving it 5 stars simply because it is time-consuming to use because the “flashing” area is small. Well-made product by appearances. I definitely use the glasses provided because the flash is very bright. The thing gets hot after awhile too but as to be expected in my opinion.

Hello all, I purchased this item back in December purpose for underarms. Skeptical but hopeful that this might work. It has significantly helped! The hairs are less , they grow out much slower, and thinner. I used to shave and next day it’s prickly again. It’s not a right away result. I almost gave up on it. I wasn’t consistent at all at first either I do it once twice a week for one month then just once every 2 weeks. But what I recommend doing is after you Shave your underarms, do it the first two days. It’s gonna sting I put it at highest settings but maybe ease into it ( beauty is pain) so I did 3 flashes upper ( left; center; right ) section of the armpit , 3 flashes center ( left; center; right) 3 flashes bottom and then two additional flashes in the center of the armpit ( yes it stings) make sure to apply a little pressure cause if you don’t it might not be working properly. Does it itch after ? Yes. Do I have solution for that no, because I’ve aloe Vera helps but I’m allergic to it. So I just itch. But bright side is my underarms are looking a lot brighter too! Work in progress ! Going to keep at it. Good luck!

I went through the 3 month IPL process and was not impressed with the results. The picture I'm showing is 2 days after finishing the process, and this is normal hair growth. The machine started making a bad noise after 1 month, as though a fan was loose. The IPL process was tedious and time consuming considering it didn't work. The bare patch in the picture has always been bare. I'm giving 2 stars because it was delivered on time, and the customer service staff contacted me when I first received their product. I hope it works for you better than it did for me.

This product has had no effect at all for me. My skin and hair colour meet the recommendations yet I still have same hair growth.
