Bought this item after reading the reviews to use with my car stereo which has a usb port and an aux in port. The product I thought, worked great for about 10 minutes use and with the car engine running. Once I turned the car engine off, i went to restart the car and the battery was flat (not had this problem before). Had to jump start the car, tried again and the same thing happened again. Removed the item, jump started the car and not had a problem with the car since. I can only assume the item is not compatible with my car stereo or the item itself is faulty therefore returned for a refund.Don't let this review put you off buying this item as the sound quality etc was excellent, only that my set up possibly could not handle this item.

Poor quality

I've had one of these for several months and am now buying another.Works very well: good quality sound, connects quickly, stop/start/reply button easily accessible. Good value. I use it mostly for listening to podcasts from my phone, and occasionally as a hands-free phone set. One good thing is that it has a short Bluetooth range, which means that if you're not in the vehicle your phone does not connect to it, and therefore you can use the phone normally (otherwise the phone would ring and you'd have to go back to the vehicle to answer it). It reconnects automatically as you get back to the car. I switch it from vehicle to vehicle as I need to.The only problem I have had is that the USB connector is only fixed to the gadget itself by being soldered to the circuit board, so it is not very robust. Eventually the solder on mine broke and the thing fell apart. I shall reinforce the new one, probably with a ring of glue around the top of the USB connector so it's fixed firmly to the casing. Another solution would be to have it on a short USB extension cable, thus isolating the connector from being bumped. Might possibly not be such a problem for someone who is not chucking farming kit into the truck all the time...Update: I used the second one I bought on a short USB extension cable and also tried to treat it more gently, but it lasted even less time than the other! Now on my third. This time I have run a bead of glue (the UV-cured type) around the connector at its junction with the casing. It seems much more robust now, but time will tell.Update update: About two years later still working well after glue reinforcement.

I deliberately searched for a Bluetooth receiver that was not battery-powered, as I have had a problem with a battery operated device previously.I don't power this from the car's USB port, as the car's electrics introduce interference. Instead, I used a high-capacity USB battery. I use this device in "Bluetooth Mode".When I get into the car, I turn on my car radio in Aux Mode. This Bluetooth receiver is permanently plugged in to the Aux jack on the car. I connect the Bluetooth receiver to my USB battery, and it turns on, stating "Bluetooth Mode". My phone then connects automatically to it via Bluetooth (obviously this Bluetooth connection has to be set up initially, as with all Bluetooth devices). I am then able to play music etc from my phone through the car's speakers.The device is working perfectly and I am very pleased with it.

Rubbish just work for few days

Absolutely great product, best BT receiver I had. It is connecting with my smartphone automatically, not loosing connection when engine is started like other i had. Very neat cable solution so it can be adjusted to the car specifics. I do solely recommend.

It doesn’t connect automatically

Works okay but there is some interference issue so I would not recommend this particular product.Update: Turns out that the product was faulty and not a generalised problem with the product itself, seller has resolved the issue. Thanks for being a trustworthy seller who cares about the customers and really takes the time to look after you.Happy Customer.

Ma femme n'ayant pas le bluetooth souhaitait écouter SA musique dans sa voiture.J'ai suivi l'explication en français du manuel.J'ai branché la clef usb dans l'allume cigare de la voiture (convertisseur pas fourni) , la demande de connexion bluetooth s'est fait sur le GSM Samsung S8+, je l'ai validé. J'ai ensuite connecté le petit cable audio (fourni) entre la clef usb et l'entrée "audio in" de l'autoradio. Ensuite je n'ai eu qu'a choisir la musique que je voulais jouer, définir sur l'autoradio que je choisissais l'entrée audio pour le son et tout s'est fait facilement et le son est impeccable.Pour le prix c'est parfait.

J'avais déjà la version USB mais cette version sans fil est vraiment pratique en extérieur. Je m'en sers pour émettre depuis n'importe quel appareil vers mon casque sans fil ou mon enceinte portable. La qualité est top!
