Ok
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this item and even though I’m a Prime member it took a long time to get here. After waiting I received the wrong item. (Picture). After another week I received the correct item. And I have no complaints as far as the functionality. It works perfect and I included a video of how efficient it is, but I will say. This item has one of the worst welding I’ve ever seen. I included pictures. One side of the sludge sucker didn’t even get welded. I hope that doesn’t hurt me in the future.

Incredibly simple and FANTASTIC performance
I bought this to get the last bits of water out of our above ground pool. The drained the previous season's water after the warm weather arrived and the pump we use always leaves about 4 inches or so of water in the bottom. Previously, we had used a shop vac which was very labor intensive dumping the container over the side. I found this while looking for other pumps that would pull more water. All I can say is FANTASTIC! It got out every bit of water, even the smaller little puddles. I would recommend this to anyone for this application and pretty much anything else where you would want to clean up even very shallow collections of water.

Replace the hose it comes with
Works well .. those hose though it comes with is very ridged and very hard to work with .. I suggest getting a different piece of hose to make it easier to work with

WORTH THE PRICE
FOR SOME REASON, WE FAIL TO COVER OUR ABOVE THE GROUND POOL AT THE END OF THE SWIM SEASON. THEREFORE, EACH YEAR, WE END UP DRAINING OUR POOL AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SUMMER, BUT STRUGGLE TO GET THE REMAINING 6 INCHES OF WATER AND LEAVES OUT. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN A BACK-BREAKING ENDEAVER TO SCOOP ALL OF THE DEBRIS OUT AND POUR IT OVER THE SIDE.WELL, NO MORE. THIS IS AWESOME AND SAVED US COUNTLESS HOURS OF WORK. THE LAST LITTLE BIT OF WATER WAS TOUGH TO GET OUT BUT WE QUICKLY LEARNED TO USE A BROOM TO SWEEP THE WATER TO THE SLUDGE SCRUBBER AND IT WORKED PERFECTLY.THE ONLY DOWNFALL, AS I SEE IT, WAS THE FACT THAT IF WE HAD A LARGE AMOUNT OF LEAVES TO TRY TO GO THROUGH AT THE SAME TIME, IT WOULD STOP UP. HOWEVER, THIS WAS MINOR AND DIDN'T BOTHER US.

BUY THIS ONE!
Everything you need right out of the box! After creating a mud slurry with my 4000 PSI 5.0 GPM pressure washer I connected the sludge pump and it did not disappoint! The "vacuum" created actually pulled the device down further into the water. Please plan on what and where to pump the unwanted product. I will probably add some extra length of hose.

Quick clean out of mud in our pond.
It would suck out anything that fit through the intake. Great product!

Works but…
Draining a pool and it pulls great until you get to about an inch of water. It’ll pull the liner up and stop the flow. After looking mine does not have the “notch out” on the underside lip which leaves mine with all 4 sides the same level. I hate to get a side grinder to a new purchase. The notch makes perfect sense though
