Transport a single canoe or kayak from the parking lot to the lake easily and hassle free with our Canoe and Kayak Dolly. It is designed to hold a canoe/kayak by the hull in a V-shaped cradle with 3-1/2 "L foam bumpers on each arm. Cradle arms are connected together with a 13" nylon strap to prevent the cradle from opening too far.

Solid, lightweight kayak trolley
Functionally this little thing is impressive. It pushes and pulls and turns very smoothly. The single leg for balancing doesn't need to be retracted when you're ready to roll, it just lifts off the ground as you lift the end you will be carrying. My kayak is 14 feet long and 55 lbs. I wasn't sure I would be able to roll it around on a trolley. But this one works really well. You can place it further up the body of the kayak to take more weight off of your arm. In the pictures you can see how the kayak sits nicely on the padding and the leg lifting as someone lifts the nose of the kayak. It came with only the wheels needing to be attached (which is super easy). And with the wheels off this thing could fit in one of the storage hatches in my kayak.

Nice canoe cart.
This canoe cart is well-made. It is made of lightweight aluminum and has large inflatable rubber wheels that ensure your craft will be up high enough to prevent wear/damage from scraping or getting caught up.The pictures in the description suggest that the wheels are foldable as well, but they have to be removed in order to fold the cart. The wheels are kept in place with a toggle whose handle folds flat once the pin is inserted. The foam padding ensures that the canoe slides on well, but it also makes it a little too easy to slide off. Maybe making this out of rubber would have helped with that?Good product overall.

no more skidding the boat along behind
This is the second version of two of these I purchased for this kayak season. I'm very happy with this one too. It collapses down into a very compact size and can be tucked into the seat well of the kayak when hauling. The folding motion and kickstand are both spring friction release so you only just need to tug to open it and bring out the leg. The leg makes loading the boat easy for one person (see pics). The wheels are removable very quickly with a pin, but I don't see any reason to pull them off.

Super light and stores easily
Spring is arriving here and we are excited to get the boats out and I ordered two different versions of this carrier for our kayak trips. The launch we get out at has a long uphill path to the parking area and it's always awkward for two of us to carry the kayaks up to the truck. One of us always has a kayak nose bashing into our thigh. We pulled a boat out of the garage to give it a go and it works exactly as I hoped. Unfold it from the flat position, pop out the legs (easy spring resist), and drop the rear of the kayak on it. Pick up the front of the boat and walk. It's that easy. I posted a short clip and a pick of a boat sitting on the carrier.

Helps for moving our paddle boards and kayaks
I bought this Wistar transport cart for moving our kayaks and paddle boards. First it was easy to assemble, just a couple clips to attach the wheels. And also I had to inflate the tires, which uses a standard tire inflator. We don't have a long way to move our kayaks and paddle boards to the water, but since they are heavy this takes a lot of the work out of it. There were times I would not take them out because I dreaded lifting and carrying them. This transport is easy to use. I can put the transport in front of the paddle board, lift the front 1/4 onto it and roll it to where it needs to go, same with the kayak. It does move and turn well and goes through grass and sand. So glad it has a kickstand so that it stays in place while loading. The kickstand "pops up" and stays up while moving. It folds for easy storing. It would have been nice to have some instructions, I had to do some trial and error before I found what worked for me. The quality of this transport is as nice as the ones in the sports store I saw and the price is much better.

Effective for small jobs
My canoe is under 100 lbs so this will work fine for my use. However, I question the validity of this being able to handle up to 220 lbs. It's pretty flimsy and I'd be afraid to use it for that purpose. Assembly was fairly easy which is saying a lot because I typically get frustrated by such situations. All you have to do is attach the wheels.Functionally, it pushes and pulls fairly easily and the leg is a nice feature that I haven't had previously to help stabilize. Additionally, the leg retracts itself when you lift.

Not worth it.
Easy to assemble. It works great on hard flat surface, but when I tried to take it down a path it was a disaster. It does not turn at all. Kayak would fall off or the cart would collapse. After fighting with it for almost an hour I gave up and carried it. I will be returning the cart. It's just not worth it.

Good for the price, why spend more?
Good little cart/dolly for the money. Comparable to those that cost 3 and four times the price. Use what you saved on a carbon fiber paddle! The wheels are embossed with the correct tire pressure and they also had a sticker on the tire with the max pressure of 10 lbs psi. Don't blow it by over inflating the tire and damaging the wheel like I've seen some people do and complain about. The dolly wheels come off and it folds flat so it can be stored in the hatch of your sit-in kayak. For those who want to see just how simple it is to use, watch the 90 year old guy from Australia demonstrate just how easy it is to use on You Tube.
