Great Flavor Enhancer
This is all pretty subjective and I am definitely not a culinary expert. I personally do not like the strong malted flavor of other soy sauces but I really like the more subtle flavor of this sauce. Besides “Chinese” food (fresh hot Jasmine rice, a little butter and soy sauce is to die for!), I really like this sauce on chicken, turkey, beef and pork, especially if it’s a little dry. I grew up with this soy sauce in our house and was really disappointed when our local box and grocery stores stopped selling this. So, I did what I’m doing more and more often, see if I can find it on Amazon, and I’m glad I did, I am whole again.

Good value, poor packing
I love this soy sauce and it can be hard to find at my local grocery stores. I found this 12 pack online for approx. $30. It arrived in a single walled box with a thin cardboard divider between the bottles (much like bottled beer is packaged in a 12 pack). The box had been treated roughly and two of the bottles were broken. Soy sauce was leaking out of the package into my mailbox. Even though I lost two bottles, it is still a great deal. I love the product and the cost but this packaging is inadequate for delivery via standard ground carriers. It should be double boxed or else the individual bottles should be wrapped separately in bubble wrap or something similar.

Hard to find in stores
My family is gluten free and we can’t go out for Chinese food. LaChoy soy sauce is affordable and delicious. I buy it by the case from Amazon! We love it.
