Top layer of metal coating is wearing off!
We purchased 4 sets of these for general household use. After 1 year (+ or -), the shiny coating is from the surface and displaying black spots and areas on a number of units. It appears that they will all come this same fate. We assume that we are ingesting the corroded material. It is too long, since we ordered these, to return them. So, we will destroy them and order new ones from a different manufacturer!

Very Nice-Looking Set of Flatware!
I love this flatware set----it is not one of those lightweight sets and the pieces are a nice, larger size! I really like the serrated part of the knife blade as it cuts very nicely. This set is beautifully polished and the style looks perfect with my Fiesta Ware dishes. It washes nicely & comes out of the dishwasher looking spotless & very pretty! It would be nice, however, if the soup spoons weren't quite so large. I also wish that a set of matching hostess serving pieces in this pattern were available.
