A Review For My PCOS Cysters
I have severe PCOS symptoms. I'm on hormonal birth control and I've tried Spironolactone and Metformin plus lots of supplements (and lost 30 pounds) with very mild change in the hair problem. I have a full Amish beard that is just determined to grow in haha. Waxing doesn't work, so far depilatory creams haven't, and ONLY Schick Intuition razors do anything about it. So I bought this and was pretty impressed. It was hard to get the hang of, plus the handles kept popping off and the spring would hit me in the face....I not only looked like a pirate, but sounded like one as I yelled "ARRRGH" repeatedly. But it was satisfying to see the hairs come out. Maybe 1/4 of them were removed. I was shocked that it barely hurt at all...usually I have very sensitive skin. Maybe I now have a jaw of steel from everything it's been through. Anyhow I consider this a successful test for the price, so now I'm going to buy a more expensive electric epilator that will hopefully work better.1-Week Update:I've gotten much better at using this with practice. It's a life saver. Still very time consuming, but the handles haven't come off again and I can now remove about 90% of the hair. Some of the hairs are coming in much softer and blonde now instead of black. And I'm down from shaving 3-4 times a day to just once, only to get the stragglers! I couldn't be happier. I use this about every second or third day and am hoping to need it less if they keep coming in finer. The only place it's painful for me is between the upper lip and nose area, and it's bad, so be careful ladies. I haven't gotten it to work anywhere besides the face yet. I bought the Keda battery-powered epilator and I know it works for some people, but personally I didn't have any luck with it on my face, legs, or arms. It did remove a bit of underarm hair but left me bleeding and red. I don't care enough about epilating that area for it to be worth cutting my skin! (Oh, and it worked on my tummy painlessly but with so/so results; and fine for bikini line, but a bit painful, as expected.) Possibly will try out a pricey one in the future but for right now, I'm pleased with the coil results!

Ehhh
It takes a while to get used to and even when u do it won't take all of the hair off. U have to continuously go over the same spot and even then it will still leave some hairs behind. Oh and as for the pain, of course it hurts. I don't understand how people would think this wouldn't hurt when it is literally trapping hairs on the spring and pulling out multiple hairs at a time. Anyways, it really wasn't worth it for me.

WAY better than having to use wax or tweezers
WAY better than having to use wax or tweezers. Also way easier. I have PCOS and get dark hairs on my chin and upper lip. My skin is too sensitive to wax often and too sensitive to use hair removal creams at all. I'd had to resort to using tweezers constantly, and I swear I was getting a repetitive stress injury in my hand from it. This is a time saver and a hand saver. lol

it works great. I really don't think it it hurts that ...
Once you figure it out, it works great. I really don't think it it hurts that much, I guess it depends on your pain tolerance, this beats taking the time to tweeze, when you could just sit there and roll this over your face while watching something, give it a shot, with some practice on how to roll it it does great!

I thought would be easier the more I used it but I didn't feel like it got easier
I have used the Jovanna facial hair remover threading about 10 times. it does remove/ pull some of the hairs but I found it awkward to use. I thought would be easier the more I used it but I didn't feel like it got easier. while it did remove some of the hairs it missed several and I had to go over multiply times. I will keep the tool and continue to try and use I will update if I get any better using it.

Practice makes perfect
I have fine hairs on my face that I can not grab with tweezers, if you are patient and roll this device correctly it grabs them perfectly. It is a bit uncomfortable but not very painful. I have been using it a few weeks now. I recommend watching youtube videos on how to roll it, so you are not discouraged.

For the itty bitty hairs
It works well for the itty bitty thin fuzz-like hairs around the lip and chin. It does not grip the larger ones or allows you to focus in on one you want to pull well. For <$4 it's worth it, but not for more than that. Yes it's a bit painful, but that's to be expected when tweezing, waxing, or threading.

Not great. Just get a dermaplane tool.
Gets some hair off, but not much, and it hurts a lot when you do. I got this to remove peach fuzz, but you have to go over a lot to remove the hair.I prefer my dermaplane tool. You get a lot more precision, actually remove all the peach fuzz, can shape brows, and exfoliate while you’re at it.
