Q: Is this thing any good? It's cheap and made in China

I didn't really have good luck with the straightener, so I gave it away. As for the other items they're not much more than sample size. You don't get a brush with the kit and the E-Book didn't download.

Q: Is it normal for it to smoke and have a burning smell?
