Give us this day,our daily shave…
I like the ability to get a quick clean shave and Norelco has provided this for me for more than two decades.I’m concerned the quality of my daily shave has suffered because today’s cutting blades do not hold their sharpness like they once did, making it longer to get the close shave I once received from my Norelco.

Shave is poor
The replacement heads do not give a very close shave. My 2 year old OEM blades give me a better shave.

Difficult to clean because it is one piece.
Difficult to clean and it vibrates. Other than that it does a good job.

IT'S RUBBISH !
Ok....it is quite different looking inside and out from the original shaving head on my Philips Norelco SensoTouch 3D shaver I bought a few years ago. I was a bit worried about what I was buying after reading a few negative reviews about the build quality and shaving effectiveness. I used it for the first time a few days ago and it worked fine. Maybe if you are a guy with heavy whiskers like barbed wire then I think most electric shavers would be a let down after a short time. The only real negative for me is the original shaving heads pivoted open to allow easy rinsing under hot water. This new shaving heads have gone back to their original design where the shaving heads must be dismantled for a thorough clean though I was still able to rinse it under hot water. I am sure at some point I will need to dismantle the 3 shaving heads and clean underneath....that is what the orange plastic accessory is for. As I said it works fine and shaves good enough to keep me happy !UPDATE....After shaving with this new shaver head once I took it apart as per the instructions to clean it.....a very awkward procedure. Keep in mind I have used Philips Philishave / Norelco shavers all my life. This replacement head virtually fell apart in my hands as I tried to reassemble it. Tiny fragile plastic lugs simply broke off even with gentle pressure rendering the shaver head useless. Even though the return window had closed on Jan 31st I did not hesitate to contact Amazon customer support in early April and after much explanation I extracted a refund from them conditional on returning the broken shaver head in it's original box...at no cost to me. In the end I received a full refund courtesy of the supplier after I complained to them. Lesson to be learned...keep the box. I was also fortunate that I kept my much better quality shaver head which still does a much better job and is miles easier to clean than this absolute rubbish I was sent.

New replacement blades work, but feel too light.
These blades are noticeably lighter than previous models. They do a good job, but they are not quite as effective as previous blades on my razor. While the blades are effective, I find the feel in my hand no longer feels quite right and now it has me thinking about replacing my razor. As I said, they do work, but just not to my liking.

Cheapest quality yet. Falls apart. Sadly, after 19 years, I’m done with Norelco.
I’ve been using the Norelco SensoTouch 3D shaver since 2011. The razor itself has been great. Unfortunately, Norelco’s replacement heads have been getting worse and worse. The OG replacement heads in 2011 (while expensive at $80+), we’re a work of art, and capitalized on the “3D” in its name with its flexibility in being able to bend and reach every hair for the smoothest shave.Norelco seemingly stopped making those heads (likely due to the sophistication, and rising costs) and have offered cheaper replacement heads. They don’t seem to cut as smooth as the OG head, and have seemingly become increasingly shoddy, which brings me to my review.I bought this product, and in the box the pieces were loose and bouncing around in the box. When trying to assemble the heads onto the razor, the heads would fall apart, and not seat properly on the rest of the unit. After several tries, I eventually ordered a replacement. Thereplacement worked slightly better, and lasted about 3 months before succumbing to the same issues.I looked at the heads and compared it to my old heads I was replacing, and you can tell that they’re visually different. As if they replaced more of the heads with cheap plastic or something. After being with Norelco for my entire adult life, and the SensoTouch 3D for 19 years, I’ve given up on Norelco for the YOHOOLYO Electric Razor (available on Amazon). It offers an identical shave/features, and has a power-boost to make shaving even quicker. Plus, at $20, the entire unit is 1/2 the cost of the replacement heads. (And the YOHOOLYO’s replacement heads are ~$15).

Shave is good and price was decent.
Used to shave beard on daily basis. Shaving close with no issues so far.
