I love this little gadget. My tablet's usb socket was getting beat up and regular charging cables would not connect snugly. So I got this cable and now I never have to plug and unplug cables anymore. As for people who say that the plug comes out when they try to detach the cable, you need to pull it off at an angle, like they say in the description. So instead of pulling the cable away from my tablet, I pull it down, 90 degrees and it "breaks away" easily, leaving the plug in my tablet, even though the socket is loose to begin with. Also, because the magnet is so strong, I can just put my tablet near the cable end, within an inch or so and it will connect. I'm loving it. The only issue is it is big. So if you have a case that is tight around the usb plug, it won't work. It also sticks out quite a bit so probably not great for a phone. I had to get the more "traditional" type magnetic plug for my phone, which does not work quite as well as this one. But I'm definitely sold on the concept of magnetic chargers. With my tablet, I don't care that it sticks out and the case does not get in the way of the plug. The cable IS thin so that may affect charge times. However, I plug it in whenever I'm not using it so I haven't noticed if charging is slower. Even if it is slower, I love the convenience.

Very strong magnet, but the charger fell apart within weeks. Poorly made.

The idea is great, but at best it simply slows down the drain on my cell phone battery. That's what I've noticed when I've used it at my job or in my car. It probably charges a phone if left plugged in over night while the phone isn't in use, but that's about it.Earlier today I made the above review and I gave the charger two star...let me edit that...I really liked the concept of the product and before my first one arrived, I ordered another one also. The first one didn't work very well as I mentioned earlier. BUT...I on a whim tried the second charger and it works perfectly!I'm changing my star rating to three stars. I would give it five stars but since the first one hardly worked I only upped my rating to three stars...even though I am very satisfied with my second charger.

If you do not mind a little extra on your device this product works great, has a strong connection and does speed up charging slightly. I gave it 4 stars do to lacking certain features such as led indicators, overcharge protection circuitry, and lastly data transfer ability. Add these features and it would be a great cable. Evan without data transfer I feel the other aspects I mentioned are well needed in a charger cable.

I'm a delivery driver, so wanted something that was easy to hook up. This charger works perfectly. It is extremely easy to connect, charges quickly (battery charge level continues to rise while phone is in full use), and is everything I could ask for as far as efficiency, ease-of-use, & design.Would highly recommend.Plus, at this price, who could beat it?I did have to modify my phone case so the charging adapter would fit. My phone case is made of plastic: I just hung out with one of my friends who's a smoker & snagged his cig before he put it out. I used the heat of the cig to enlarge the access hole for the charge port. Now this charger nestles in perfectly. Moral of this story: I think you can make this charger work for you, and it's so easy to use it's 100% doing a bit of case modification, if needed.

Love the magnetic feature but low power takes twice as long to charge.

The part that plugs into the phone fell out of my phone the first day...now the cord is worthless.It sticks out of the phone pretty far and snags on things, so im not surprised that it fell out and i lost it, but im pretty disappointed it happened the very first day. :-(
