Easy to install, performs as advertised - both USB A and C ports work at the full 10 Gbps sustained!
Using this with a Samsung PM961 (960 EVO OEM drive) and I can push 1000 MB/s reads and writes through this enclosure sustained. The enclosure uses a Realtek RTL9210B-CG chipset, which I suppose is one of the better ones. The enclosure provides two mounting mechanisms: toolless using rubber stoppers, or using screws. Both sets of parts are included in the box so the choice is yours. It also includes the proper sized screw driver in the box. I opted to use the toolless option and use the rubber stopper but the stock rubber stopper was mounted in the 2240 position and I needed to move it to the 2280 position - the screwdriver helped with that process to make it easier. The only iffy part is that the enclosure slides together and is only stopped by a thin piece of plastic that looks fragile. At least they give you a spare in the box.On my previous enclosure which had only a USB A port but advertised to support 10 Gbps, it would always freeze and drop out when actually connected to a 10 Gbps port - that one had a JMS583 chipset. I guess that one belongs in the trash.

Sturdy
Easy to install the nvme. Comes with an extra screw if needed, but it has a rubber stopper installed to act as the mount screw. USB-C length is a bit shallow. The length of the enclosure and weight definitely causes some downward pressure onto your USB port due to a lever effect. I use the cap of whichever end as a prop under the enclosure.Fast otherwise, I suspect other reviews that comment on speed either are hitting write cache limits or even thermal throttling. It gets hot! They include the standard blue rectangular thermal pad, which actually scrapes when pushing the enclosure back together. I got a small amount of extra silicon material pushed out that I had to tear off.

Works well
I just received this today and was anxious to try it out. I have my A+ certification, used to own my own PC repair business, have been in the IT field for almost 30 years. I also used to have my Cisco CCNA certification (I let it expire since I was not actively using it). Installing the M.2 drive was easy and quick. I cloned a 1TB WD NVMe drive in a little over 36 minutes using Macrium Reflect. It worked flawlessly, unlike the WAVLINK USB C to M.2 NVMe SSD Tool-Free Enclosure with Heat Sink, that forced an invalid sector size which prevented cloning using Macrium Reflect or Acronis. I would definitely recommend this product. Windows 10 Pro OS.

Good option for portable M.2 USB Storage
Works great for converting M.2 NVME drives into portable flash drives. Easy assembly.

Good speed. Easy install. Great connection options
3/29/23 Update:The clip on end piece that locks the drive enclosure closed is extremely fragile. It's a small plastic piece with two really small L shaped clips that slide into holes on the usb-c end. Problem is those two small pieces are bearing the weight/tension of you trying to get the cap off of the USB A end. You hold the drive enclosure and pull on the USB A cap, the only things keeping the internals from sliding out are those 2 micro pieces of plastic. The caps are nice and snug, which I like but it always puts a LOT of pressure on those 2 small clips. So, they of course, broke now. I've only used the drive a few times. They would have broken a lot sooner if I had been using it more. Now the drive internals slides out unless I'm holding it in. Sightly frustrating. Besides that it's a great enclosure. I uploaded a photo to show size of one of the clips that broke.Very easy install. Good speeds. Don't know exact but it's a lot better than the normal flash drives. I really like the dual connection of USB-C and USB 3.0. and it's compact.

Very good with one caveat...
I'm a bit disappointed by the somewhat misleading speed. It's listed as USB 3.2 10Gbps, but it maxed out at 960MBps. I understand the conversion, but it's still not really USB 3.2. Otherwise, solid construction and easy to put together. It comes with the mounting screw/fitting, a screwdriver, and a thermal pad.

Plug and play.
This is definitely a handy gadget to have in your support tool kit. Our supervisor sent us the link to order these just in case we wanted one and I’m glad I did. We have had several cases now where are automatic transfer tool has not function properly and we have had to migrate users data manually. This tool has been a lifesaver. My only con on this product is the little rubber stopper that keeps the hard drive in place. It is super hard to get back into place if it Accidentally pops out.

A good NVME enclosure
This one is not a fancy enclosure and it is a little bit pricey. I chose this one based on the following merits.1. It is a bigger size thumb drive. I hate the enclosures with extention cables.2. It has ventilatioon holes for heat dissipation. I assembled a tiny external SSD long time ago with a mSata SSD and I know how the overheat issue. The ventilation holes really help.Tested with my old Samsung evo 256GB NVME SSD. It achieved the advertised speed with USB3.0 and USB3.1Gen2 ports. The SSD temperature was mild with load and cooled down at idle.

Excelente para usar como unidad externa o para clonar s.o.
Me decidí a comprar este dispositivo por los buenos comentarios y porque en realidad es muy buen dispositivo, no he tenido problemas con el equipo.

As described
It is exactly as described and with the right nvme you can get some descent speeds too.

Good compact enclosure that delivers good speed
Based on other review comments and my experience I can surely say this enclosure is capable of USB3.2 Gen2 (10Gbps) Speeds if your computer is not running on energy saving mode.In my testing, the enclosure delivered 889MB/s read and 850MB/s write speed on one of my Laptop's USB-A ports when the energy saving turned off. The speed dropped 40%-50% when laptop energy saving turned on .The other USB-A port and USB-C port in my laptop only achieved 400-450 MB/s read write speeds. So I guess one of my laptop USB ports capable of 3.2Gen2 while other two ports are only 3.2Gen1.Another reviewer mentioned that they achieved higher speeds in their USB-C port, but that person had experienced slower USB-A speeds.Based on these two observations I can say the enclosure itself is USB3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) capable on both USB-A and USB-C, but it will deliver that speed only if you have similarly capable USB ports. The enclosure is compact enough to put in your pocket and you do not have to worry about the cables.

Great enclosure, however the USB-A side is significantly slower than the USB-C side.
The enclosure itself is pretty neat, easy to install the SSD and the USB-C side works pretty much as advertised. The USB-A side however, is much slower than the USB-C side. I've attached two CrystalDiskMark results, the one with the highest numbers is USB-C and the other is USB-A. Both tests were carried out on a high-end PC. The SSD used was an Aorus NVME 256GB with DRAM.After contacting the seller about it, I was told that the USB-A side is in fact just USB 3.0, not USB 3.1. This was not mentioned anywhere in the listing at the time of purchase, and is the only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars. Even so, the results for USB-A are equal to about 3.7Gb/s, which is still a bit on the slow side even for USB 3.0.Even with the disappointing USB-A speeds, it's still much faster than any external HDD or USB drive you'll find, and the USB-C side still delivers excellent speeds.

Great way to use that left-over NMVe drive from your laptop upgrade, with excellent USB performance
Took less than 5mins from opening box to copying files from laptop to external SSD drive via USB3.1 port - simple to install, simple to use, great that it offers USB-C and A ports, so can move between a desktop and laptop machine without worry about compatibility.
