A very good value for money 3CD collection of the best of ELP.It has been a long time since I listened to 70s rock legends ELP, I used to have the LP BRAIN SALAD SURGERY when I was in my teens, I also had the single FANFARE FOR THE COMMON MAN.My favourite Xmas song is I BELIEVE IN FATHER CHRISTMAS by Greg Lake, it is a Christmas classic.The one song that should have been included in this collection is the iconic BENNY THE BOUNCER.CD1 includes, Knife edge, Lucky man, Tarkus and Pictures from an exhibition.CD2 includes, Hoedown, Karn Evil 9, Jerusalem and Still you turn me on.CD3 includes, Pirates, Maple leaf rag, Daddy, Black moon and Honky tonk train blues.A very good addition to my CD collection.

Got rid of my ELP collection when I sold all my vinyl. Thought I would revisit their music so this was a great opportunity. Covers all the favourites on 3 CD's and the sound quality is excellent.

Truly a perfect opportunity for an overview of a keyboard's revolutionary !

The music Excellent! (Been an ELP Fan for years) My vinyl was more or less was worn out even having only ever been played on a Linn Sondek Valhalla. So ordered the CD Collective. No problems with the CD's themselves, BUT the Cardboard casing too small for the 3 CD's to the point where it took enormous effort and patience to get the CD's out of the 'tight' packaging. Whilst it is understandable to cut costs on Collections of older music, but to the extent where both the packaging and the CD's might Get marked or damaged is simply stupid. I have now transferred the 3 CD's to proper casings. Great Music But Extremely Cheap Pathetic Cover/Casing; hence minus 2 Stars, which is in no way a reflection of the Music of ELP.

Bargain 3 CD set of the best of ELP covering all the best singles and shorter songs (Lucky Man, Tiger In A Spotlight, C'est La Vie and of course I Believe in Farther Christmas) as well as the lengthier epics (Pictures at an Exhibition, Karn Evil, Piano Concerto No 1 etc) with the track listing in order of original release.Sound quality is good with tracks being taken from later remasters. The CD pack is vanilla with no liner notes or lyrics but at the current price of less than £7 for the 3 CDS, its a very minor quibble.Recommended.

Once I started listening to this I remembered why I loved them when I was in high school....I remember telling my piano teacher in University that I wanted to play piano like Keith Emerson and she told me to keep practicing my Hanon, my scales and all my other exercises. And Greg Lake.....oh man, amazing and of course Palmer holding it all together. I dont think anyone can play piano like Keith Emerson.....if you like ELP this is a must have....no fancy booklet or packaging; just excellent music!

...of ELP but I do like them. That said I prefer their instrumentals but the songs with vocals still sound good. This huge 3 disk set is a solid deal. I had some of their vinyl back in the day so wanted to get some digital recordings. This set is perfect and you can't beat the price. Audiophiles should be pleased with the transfers.

Die Tonqualität der CD ist überragend gut👍.Sehr gute Basswiedergabe im Vergleich zu den damals üblichen mageren Bassarrangements.Ich liebe diese 3 CDs über alles und kann sie nur jedem Hammondorgelklangbegeistertem weiterempfehlen.
