FMR Audio FMR AUDIO RNC1773 Compressor

Like the quality, performs as good or better than units double the price. Use it for my vocals on stage and in my home studio.

I’ve been considering the RNC for years, finally pulled the trigger and couldn’t be more pleased. I already have a Symetrix 528, a Presonus Studio Channel, and a dbx 1046 in my outboard rack, used the Symetrix the most. But there’s a reason famed producer Steve Albini has an RNC in his studio ; it’s awesome. I run my microphone through the Symetrix to utilize the pre-amp stage and equalizer (compression bypassed), then out to the RNC, and it sounds GREAT with my Shure SM7A microphone. Smooth, flexible, easy to use, no artifacts that you can get when you drive some compressors too hard. And the price is a huge plus. A little confusing at first as far as cable/connectors to use when hooking it up (TS vs. TRS), but not a huge deal. Highly recommend.

Just got it last night. Def been used and I mean used, which means she's broken in. Great attack and release for fast vocals. I go from my presonus to the RNC to the UR 22 C. Buy anyone you can find.

It's in the name and it lives up to it. It compresses nicely and stays out the way. Extremely transparent and clean. I wasn't looking for color when I was looking for a compressor and this fits perfectly into my workflow and for the price, it's a steal. Build quality is great. It's a really nice compressor. Lol

Not happy. I needed this now. Arrived DOA and now it tells me over a week to get replacement.Edit: tried another power supply I had lying around and it worked. Excellent compressor. Wish it supported dual mono though.

I use it for recording my vocals, and it is very transparent, yet it does EXACTLY what is should! I typically use the SUPER NICE mode, as it is (pun intended) super nice!

This product does exactly like it states. You can't find anything better than this for the cost, or twice the cost for that matter.
