I adopted a 6 yr. old Pomeranian rescued out of a mass-breeding puppy mill where he was used for breeding. He had little-to-no handling by people, just lived in a crate for 6 yrs. with a female he bred with. When I could finally get a collar on him to start leash training, he freaked out when we went outside and almost slipped out of his collar. After that I walked him with both a collar and harness on with a leash on both - double safety! - and we now walk around the neighborhood twice a day...BUT it was a pain having two leashes that twisted around each other and sometimes he'd get one, the other or both tangled under a leg or two. A friend of mine had one of these double-leash attachments on her dog and I immediately came on Amazon and ordered this one. It works perfectly! I know this is meant mostly for two dogs to be walked together, but it also works for the purpose I needed. Just one leash with two attachments, one on the collar and one on the harness, and no more twisted leashes or tangles around his legs. It's sturdy and I can confidently walk my pup safely. So glad I found this!

I have 2 pups (chi mix) that’s don’t give a crap if I had my morning coffee or not. They are bouncing bundles and give 100% puppy power no matter the time of day. They don’t understand the concept of walk on a leash…yet. The struggle has been real until I purchased this contraption. They can bounce all they want and since the middle connector rotates, they don’t get twisted up. And since I only use one leash instead of two, I don’t get tangled up either. The product comes with a lifetime warranty if you register it. So don’t throw away the packaging as you will need the upc code. It has reflective bits of thread which is nice for nighttime. It feels durable for at least my 10 pound pups. I’d say it would be good for medium sized dogs. You can adjust the length of each lead which is also nice. I have found other uses for it as well. For instance it allows me to attach both pups to the car seat connector I have. They don’t move around a lot in the car, but I can see this helping to prevent tangles there as well. The clips feel pretty solid. I use this with their harnesses that has the ring on the back.

I have 2 German Shepherds and walking them has always been a 2 man job but there’s only 1 of me so I can’t take them as often as I want to.. This lead is fantastic!! I was worried about the main one being too short but I thought it was fine and the padded handle is awesome. This is well made. Feels sturdy and the 360 swivel design works great! The first time walking was such a great experience! My boy weighs 85lbs and my other one is 68lbs. The bigger one is not great on a leash but we’ve always managed. But this was a game changer for us and I feel confident about taking them out together by myself! I don’t fear that anything will break with these pups and he pulls hard sometimes. I’m mad that I didn’t buy this thing a lot sooner!!! If you have more than 1 big dog you will not regret buying this!!

Great value and quality. My only issue (very slight) is about clasp to the D-ring that connects both shorter leashes. With two dogs that can get excited, and not listen, and twist together, I worry I might accidentally open that clasp in separating them. Luckily, a solution: I clipped a short carabiner that connects it securely. Will post a pic when take.

I have two labs and this leash works great. Very durable.

Perfect for walking my dog (black) and my foster dog (white) together! Because honestly, who has time for two separate walks or the chaos of two separate leashes?? Not me! Has also helped my foster learn to walk on a leash by having to closely follow what my dog does (I’m sure my rules are different than others, but this works for us). Would recommend.

Got a much needed double leash this morning from Mighty Paw. Today's test walk went great! No more tangles and a lot less tripping and less of me twirling. Granted I was probably getting some extra steps in with the tangles and twirls, but I prefer this way, 😆

It works great. My only problem was it is a bit heavy for my smaller dogs.

This leash is very strong and durable. I use it for 30 lb and 15 lb dog but it would hold much more weight. Can take it apart to customize if you need to.

Great solution for our yorkie and maltese. Fit and finish and overall quality is great. I use the lead with the split exclusively when walking them on a short leash. Otherwise, can attach the retractable lead to give them more room. Works great, not tangles, very sturdy. Would definitely recommend the product. Super happy with the purchase.

This is great when I’m walking my two cocker spaniels on my own. It’s sturdy and easy to use. I’ve only had my rescue dogs a month and they do cross behind me a bit which is tricky when coming down my front stairs , but that’s not the leaf’s fault!
