A&E Cage 8003223 White Play Top Bird Cage with 5/8" Bar Spacing, 32" x 23"

I built this cage by myself and I'm 62 years old, 5 ft. 1 in. and a woman! It took some time but I was able to put it together. The instructions are ONLY a diagram so it was tricky. It is a beautiful cage. Unfortunately, one of the legs is bent (see picture). I'm concerned that the weak leg will get worse since the cage is heavy and I will need to move it down stairs and outside to clean it on a regular basis. Since the cage is built, I don't plan to return it, but the defect could be an issue in the future.

One of the bars on the front of the cage was bent. This was clearly not from shipping. I used pliers to try to straighten it out, with little success. Gonna have to figure out a way to make sure it's not dangerous for my bird (getting head through and sliding down and getting stuck).

Shipping is pretty rough on these cages. The last one has a big dent in the back but the powder coating remained. I have gone through a lot of cages trying to find one that is durable. So far these seem to be a better option. Mostly green cheek conures.

I was really excited to get this cage, my conure was in a rather small and not good cage for about a week, local pet stores were selling cages either parakeet sized or macaw sized so I had to buy online. I got this cage because it's an a&e cage, but also because of the shipping. This cage came late, and came with multiple bars so damaged my conure could easily hurt himself by sticking his head out of it. I'm incredibly disappointed.

Well this is the second A&E cage we have purchased with dissatisfying results. Blemishes in the powder coat, some kind of red fuzz embedded in it, mild rust showing through in places. I will not be getting another one from them. We are 0/2. It is a shame as the cage itself and the locks are very well though out. But poor powdercoat is a deal breaker. This one is better than the last, but still has multiple issues I will have to fix. A&E was former premium cage supplier I am very disappointed.

The cage came to me with several bars bent out of whack, and I had to clean some substance off of it. It was rather concerning. At first I thought it was rust, but I have no idea. It’s ok I guess if you’re on a low budget? But I’ll stick to Kings Cages after this. They’re definitely worth the higher price.

I really wanted to like this cage but it arrived with the front and back panel so badly bent and damaged that it could not be assembled. Zip ties were already cut when I opened the box which tells me someone else returned this cage before it was sent to me. There is rust on the front panel, paint missing, and the wrought iron frame is literally cracked in several places. I have started a return on this and am going with a kings cage.

This cage arrived faster than expected, and was undamaged. It was very easy to put together (I did it by myself in less than an hour) is sturdy and looks great. My CAG is enjoying it. The only cons are that the instructions are very basic, and I couldn't figure out how to place the seed skirt. I am not bothered by that nor is my bird.
