This was my first time installing the screen myself and it is quite doable but I definitely had to have a second person to keep an eye out for small things like the fact that you need to keep track of certain screws and stuff. It was a success and the screen seems like a good quality. I just immediately put the tempered glass and case. I'll edit my review if I drop it or something on accident and let you guys know if it broke easily at all. For all those out there comparison shopping, I think this one is a great deal considering it's a decent toolkit and screen quality. I am a beginner and I can say I successfully installed it, but just know it can be frustrating and that paying someone else to do it may be worth it since mistakes seemed easy to make. When un-boxing the package all of the tools required to complete the replacement were there in a neat and compact fashion. I was very pleased with the presentation of everything, and the overall replacement process was very smooth as far as the screen/device itself went. I have done a handful of iPhone screen replacements over the years without having any issues. Unfortunately, upon finishing the screen replacement and removing the protective covering from the phone I n iPhone 6s Screen Replacement Black LCD Premium Complete Repair Kit with Tools -Easy Manuals Videos and Instructions with Glass Screen Protector,3D Touch 6s New Touch Panel Display Digitizer Assembly oticed there was what seemed to be an air bubble in the phone screen itself (seemed like a manufacturer issue). Also, some of the gestures on the phone did not work like accessing the control center or the activity feed on the phone. It's somewhat disappointing to find out that the screen has all of these issues after the fact, but I suppose that's what you get for paying $45 for a replacement screen. Otherwise, everything else worked well.

I thought it worked all nicely after installation. Installed this on November 7, everything works like new, no issues there. It's now December 23 and so far my phone screen has died on a full charge whilst using Snapchat. At first I thought it was the battery, but when I plugged my phone in to charge, the phone would vibrate as it usually does to indicate it's charging. However, the phone screen won't turn on. This is the third time this has happened (the phone eventually turned on, but after this third time I doubt it will live to see the day). I thought maybe it might be a faulty installation, so I took my phone apart again and checked the cables. Everything is connected and snaps into place as it should. It seems to be the screen itself at issue. Buy at your own risk.

This was my very first screen repair and I am not a technical master. This was VERY easy to install as long as you keep the screws together and in the order you removed them. Hint: Take a piece of scotch tape and fold it so its double sided and stick inside the box and place the screws in the order you remove them and it will be easier to remember how they go back. The youtube videos are extremely detailed and helpful.

The video instructions were very helpful. It can be improved by having tighter shots of the process, especially removing and reattaching the camera, speaker, and other sensors. Otherwise, the process is very easy to follow. The only noticeable difference was the sensitivity on the bottom of the screen when pulling up the quick access menu or hitting the space bar on the keyboard. Everything else works perfectly.UPDATE: I noticed that when I use the phone to take a call, the touchscreen is active and my face triggers buttons to be pushed as opposed to the screen being disabled when it knows the phone is in use. This has caused me to inadvertently put the phone on speaker, put a call on hold, and even push numbers on the dial pad. For this, I'm going to knock the review down to 3 stars.

This is a nice kit and certainly my experience may be different from others. The kit includes all you need for a fairly straightforward removal and installation. The process should take around 1-2 hours. I recommend using an overhead magnifyer lamp to more easily see what you are doing. The guide videos are clear and helpful. There were some inconsistencies with the video corresponding to the contents of my kit. References to parts that were not included, such as the glass removal safety sticker. Parts were included in the kit that weren’t referenced or used, such as the little chrome flat tool or the guitar pick shaped thing.Once the removal and install was completed, the new screen was tested. First off I will say that the Picture quality is quite good, with sharp graphics and vivid colors. Almost better than the original screen. However, the performance of the screen in terms of touch manipulation is problematic at times. Four instance, scrolling sometimes initiates a click on items on the screen. This is irritating when one for instance would be scrolling through a bunch of articles on a page and in doing so you click and open articles while you’re scrolling. Also the sensitivity is lower than the original. In addition, i see a light discoloration on the top left corner of the screen.This kit is good, but just know that you may be getting a screen with subpar quality.
