Deceptive product image, only one sponge, not 5 as illustrated!
This review isn't about the sponge so much, as it is about the outright deceptive presentation of 5 sponges in the photo of the product. You get only one small sponge in the package. Check out the name "Ocean5", also implies that there are 5 sponges. Well, yes there are 5 sponges, just not all in this package. The sponge itself is also smaller than others that sell for less, so the value is terrible.Anyone who is considering this sponge, first look elsewhere, then consider that you only get one sponge for the price of 3-4 from other sellers.You have a choice, so give your money to the other sellers who are more forthcoming and honest.See photo attached: in order, 1- this product, 2- Riverlight (comes in 2-pack with suction cup hanger), 3- Partie Naturals (comes in 3-pack with suction cup hanger and silicone brush). The HUB sponge is the highest price of the three packages, and you only get one sponge, nothing else. You decide what's your best choice.

Awesome mini sponge! Love them
I love this product. I have now tried all the colors; black (w/active charcoal) green (green tea) pink (cherry powder) white (natural) purple (lavender). They are so cute. They are quite mini and I've started carrying one in my bag and another in my gym bag.. All you need is water to make them pliable. They can be used with or without a cleanser. They seem like they are going to be rough but actually they feel really good. Again the size is a lot smaller than anything I've ever used before but it has one side that is rounder and the other side is convex which I tend to like the convex side for my chin and face and use the rounder side on my neck... Just a personal preference. I received this product at a discounted rate for an honest review and I, like you reading this - do use reviews to help me with my buying decisions.

The item showed up in a reasonable time frame, but the item is much smaller than I ever expected. It actually fits in the palm of my hand and measures about 21 /2"X2 1/2". I wasn't expecting only 1 sponge!
I have not used the sponge yet but I thought they represented this product wrongly, I thought I was getting a set of 5 sponges. The photos for the product always showed 5 sponges. This sponge was $12.88 for one sponge! I bought a set of three others from Beauty shelf for $11.97,had I known this wasn't a set and I was getting one sponge, I would not have purchased. I can't give an actual review on this sponge since I have not used it yet but I won't be purchasing again at this price!

I really got excited to receive and review this sponge from HUB Skin Care, it's supposed to be one of the best things to clean your face with these days. I tinkered with which one to choose because there are five options, all for various skin types.White: all skin types to include sensitive skin (with natural Konjac Powder)Black: acne prone skin (with Bamboo Charcoal powder)Green: mature skin (with Green Tea powder)Pink: rejuvenate & revitalize skin (with Cherry powder)Purple: sensitive skin (with Lavender powder)Let me first start by telling you I have normally dry skin, with patchy scales around my smile line. My usual product of choice was a simple buff puff sponge, love the tear-drop shape, hate the fact that it's really like washing your face with sandpaper. Another down-side, they break down really fast and only last me about a week. I knew something had to change, so I researched facial brushes and sponges and kept coming back to the HUB Konjac sponge. I decided I had nothing but dry skin to lose, so I placed an order for the green one for mature skin.It arrived quickly and I was surprised how neatly & sanitary it was packaged. Now, I've read a bit about the sponges, so I knew once I opened it, it was going to feel hard and dry. The key to activate the sponge is to soak it in warm water for three minutes. It puffed up a bit and became super-soft and squishy to touch. There was no odor or weird smell, but I did notice the sponge become round in shape, with one-side having a flat back. It really fit perfectly in my hand.I chose to use this sponge with my regular facial cleanser, some people just use the sponge alone. I really didn't expect it to feel as soothing as it did, you could tell it was exfoliating, but it was so gentle and relaxing, not at all abrasive. I immediately regretted ever buying a buff puff in the first place and tossed mine in the trash. Why had I suffered so long? I simply didn't know these suckers existed to make your beauty routine pleasurable! I rinsed, patted dry and noticed that my skin felt refreshed. All I had to do was hang the sponge to air dry, which conveniently included a string attached to it. After using it for several days, I've noticed that my face is no longer red and irritated right after cleansing, which used to be a big problem with my old sponge.I've heard the tales, sponges breed bacteria. Simple solution, drop your sponge in a bowl of water once a week and zap it in the microwave for 2 minutes. Squeeze all the water out and hang to air dry. Replace your sponge as needed, should it begin to break down. I can see this easily lasting 2 months with daily use.PRO: Money back guarantee, gentle on the skin, last longer than expected.CONS: The shape, no suction cup holder. This particular company could improve the sponge by making it in a tear-shape, to get in your hard-to-reach places, such as your inner eye. Some companies that make various brands of Konjac sponges include a suction cup with your order, this company did not. Im loving these sponges
I am amazed at how well these little guys clean without any soap at all! They're all natural, some kind of vegetable matter from the ocean. I don't know exactly how it works, but I can assure you that it DOES work!My facell looks and feels so good since I started using these. I purchased three different brands. One, I didn't like. These, I love. And the starter set in the heart shape box (and 3 heart shape sponges) are wonderful, too.I just make sure I get an all natural one. They clean DEEP! And they're just so convenient! I can wash my face anytime I want, without getting soap and water everywhere. I don't even have to pull my hair back or remove my clothing (I'm a messy face washer - lol- but not anymore!)I revived this sponge at a promotional rate in exchange for my honest review.
