the product was very light weight. i was expecting the base to be a lot more solid, but in the same sense its sturdy and quite easy to manipluate to practice. i ddi order the white base but i got the brown one. not that i think it makes any difference in quality or usefulness but i was expecting one thing and got another. the "nail bed" tips are horrible quality, does not work well for the techinques looking to practice on, the finger tips themsleves are a hard plastic feel and not a softer silicone or "fake skin" feel that i have found on other brands. but an easy replacement and switch out should be okay. just wasnt expecting another two purchases.i do recommend if you are looking for something affordable that you can use in the mean time while you are saving for a better quality at a later time or if you arent sure you want to invest in nail trainers yet .because i teach in education, my goal was to use this practice hand to move from student to student to demo techniques instead of having a nail trainer full hand to have to mount and move. l will update usefulness in education at a later date.
