Great thread for macrame
I purchased 3 colors (light brown, dark coffee, dark brown) from this seller and they all work very well. One general comment: focus on the photos the seller is providing rather than the name given to each colors. It was very confusing to me, so here are the details:-->The light brown: is more of an orange/yellow as you can see on my photos then the name of the color "light brown" as advertised. Although it is slightly different than expected with its name, I really like this color! I also find it a bit less waxy then the 2 other colors. It is still working perfectly fine for macrame crystal wrapping or bracelet/necklaces.-->The dark brown: is very light for its name. I also really like that it seems a little bit like "gold" when put next to other colors such as cold grey or black for example.-->The dark coffee: is the darkest from all 3 colors I purchased. Although it seems like dark brown, it often looks like black while doing tight knots for macrame, especially when burned. It is the most waxy colors from all 3.I am overall very satisfied with the quality of the waxy & burnable threads for macrame. Also shipping was faster than expected!

Does the job
I bought this to repair various items with....a leather coat that needed some repairs and the pocket on a winter jacket I own. Mostly I purchased this product to make custom leather sheaths for small knives I collect. I would have preferred if it had a higher wax content. Line that I used before was far more waxier and that is what keeps it positioned on the item your making as well as giving it a good rubbed -in finish when your done. I find this stuff does not have enough wax content and or is a different type of wax and therefore does not have the same quality of finish as the kind I used before. I know this doesn't help much because I don't know what brand I was using before. What I can tell you is that I was paying a lot more for it and I was purchasing it from a shoe repair store in one of the local malls in Kelowna BC.For what I payed I still think that even though it lacks the same qualities as the type I'm used to working with it's a good deal. It is strong and it does have a waxy coating so I'm going to give it 5 stars anyway.

Good price any quality but very lightly waxed
Good price and quality but very lightly waxed compared with most other waxed threads I have used. Had to wax this thread before I could use it for any of my projects. It my be OK for small projects but for the rifle case out of thick leather that I used it on it required a lot more waxing. I was using about 16 feet at a time so had to stop and rewax often after passing the thread through so many holes. All in all this seems to be a good thread if you don't mind it being so lightly waxed.

and it is fantastic! It is a flat thread
I was a bit skeptical of this thread due to the price, but I received it in under two days, and on a weekend no less!I got to work with it right away, for stitching an order for a custom 5mm leather notebook cover, and it is fantastic! It is a flat thread, but is waxed perfectly, and stiches flat, as long as you're controlling your needle.I like it so much, I'm ordering a bunch more now just to stock up.
