0.0 <--- my reaction when gaming on this pc
This PC is straight amazing. I bought it because I couldn't build it myself any cheaper. That says a lot because I've built a little over 100 pc for people. HP Omen Command Center is another amazing feature and allows me to overclock and do a network boost. Which allows me to combine both wifi and Ethernet cable. Speaking of wifi, its no cheapo, added on as an afterthought like most prebuilts. The speed is incredible.Case is light in comparison to what I expected, also has quite a bit of room to grow with its removable bays, and plenty space inside.I got the rx580 because I couldn't afford the 1080ti version like I wanted. But it definitely did not disappoint. Running Arma 2 on high graphics I got 62fps. which is pretty impressive. Also the AI didn't start acting up or anything, so the ryzen 5 is equally impressive. Not sure what else I can say about this PC.The only con I have is the included mouse, its such a cheap mouse that I ended up preferring my broken Razer mouse, that jitters when I use the scroll wheel. But then again if you can afford this pc, you are more than likely already getting some serious mech keyboards.--UPDATE__Now that the price has dropped I would most definitely recommend it as a steal. I am kind of pissed at myself for buying it at 1000 but hell, it was still worth it

Worth every gig and dime.
This thing is heavy as hell, and that's easily my only complaint. It runs smooth as butter on everything I put it through from my steam library and beyond, and it's quiet as a mouse with fantastic space management inside it's burly case and great air flow.If your shelling out for similar price don't wait, buy this rig. You will only regret it until you first power it on and put it through the paces. Then it's worth every penny and more.Edit after 1st Month: The only issues I've found are minor software problems, Nvidias GeForce Experience tries a little to hard to seamlessly optimize your games only to screw the pooch on a number. Though worth noting it does nothing to my initial opinion and review. I love this rig, and am about to start adding to the hardware.2 Years Later: Still going strong! at one point the keyboard driver vanished (don't think that was the omen I think that was a windows update) and occasionally the windows explorer will freeze up and crash (looking into that as its a recent thing) but its still solid and plays damn near everything save for the new stuff coming out like Cyberpunk 2077 (which made me sad but happy I have a PS4 Pro for it).

After months of testing I 100% recommend. Runs most games on high to ultra
After months of testing I 100% recommend. Runs most games on high to ultra, runs pubg smooth as a babys bottom. Only upgrade I have done thus far is ram. Went from 8gb single Samsung stick to a Corsair 16gb kit.The mouse and keyboard it comes with is garbage, but ib my opinion thats alright because allbthe value is in the PC its self.

Did not get what I ordered broke down with in 3 months
Computer ran smoothly for about 3 months after that hardware started acting up, there is an issue with the video card i think videos freeze and sometimes the screen won't turn on and I have to restart the PC several times or if that doesn't work I have to remove and insert the video card again. The video card I ordered was NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 but the one inside the case has an HP card and the idk if processor is AMD Ryzen 5 at this point. I am not an expert in hardware but im pretty sure i got a different product than what I orderedBluetooth and Wifi both stopped working i had to by external USB drives for both. and i probably have to buy a new video card

Great product for the price
For the price of the PC I have only played five games so far but they all have ran almost flawless with correct graphic settings. If you’re looking for a pc to start on I would 100% recommend this, also the ability to easily get into the internals makes upgrading easy

Couple problems but not big enough to make you want to return it
I got this for four months now. The sound is only quiet if it below your hearing range. The video games that run with this at max still suffer some FPS drop even though it will smooth out eventually. The USB port in the back is very loose and felt like it could break off from the motherboard. It's still possible to do some upgrading in the future if people want to upgrade their PC. The opening is quite loose sometime so I will sometime hear the rattle of the opening vibrating next to the tower top. Other than these that I found so far I don't really know what else I could add to this review. If I could find more problem then I will post it in this review.

This is an update to an Omen bought on Dec.9 2017 DO NOT BUY
For 2 years this worked fine. Roughly 1 month ago the GeForce GTX started to make noise. One of the fans has gone bad. I have called customer service and they said I need to take apart and install in a different slot. Another guy said turn it off and on. This went on and on for 1/2 hr. NOTHING and in no way was I helped. Then they gave me a 3rd party customer service that was no help. Then I was given a Nivida number and he said to find the product number (not on top bottom or side I can see) so take apart and look for a number. The purpose is to see who made the card. I can not stress enough that you dont spend 2 grand on a computer that is not backed up and malfunctions will be corrected corrected. GeForce rents out their name like hookers and when something goes wrong, talk to my pimp. Sad that their is so little pride in a product name, well, as long as it works but if something goes wrong they know nothing. Because of my dishonorable treatment I am dropping this to a 2 star and that is generous. DO NOT BUY, alot of money to gamble on a product.

No DVD R/RW
Not a deal breaker at all. I could care less about it till we where in the middle of moving and my wife tried to watch a DVD. Says it has one in the description. But it does not. Wonderful desktop for playing games though.

disappointing and underwhelming. Awfull purchase
I purchased this computer a few months ago and at start i wasn't impressed with the performance buti didn't think much of it since my games were still playable. Althought now, a couple of months later, a brand new computer should 100% be still working perfectly but this one is definitly not. In my taskbar processes, the disk is at 100% and i have tried about 30 online solutions to fix it but it just won't go down and i'm pretty sure i can't do anything else at this point. With that, the computer is unusable, everything takes ages to load and game are unplayable.

All stock HP parts in this computer. Cheap, basic model.
Basically every part in this computer is HP mass-manufactured. This is a stock model of the OMEN by HP with no upgrades what-so-ever. Mine came with a defective graphics card. Seller has taken 16 days and counting to resolve my issue. Amazon issued a refund. Buyer beware.
