Decent enough, as advertised. Room for improvement
Four stars because it is as advertised.This supplies 1000mA total, shared between the ports (not 2x1000mA), but it will supply the full 1000mA to a single port if that's all that's attached. These days, that's a baseline basic current. This would be so much better with a modern, quality USB charger that can supply a couple of amps to each port, though that's too much to ask at the price.For travel this pairs very well with a good battery pack that can be charged overnight and supply current at the same time.Seems a bit flimsy, and given how basic the USB is, I'm sure it could be smaller, but it's ok. Has a slight rubberized texture that's not unpleasant.

Great wireless network adapter, did boost my speed
Having used it about half a month and I purchased this wifi antenna to boost speed on my Dell laptop running Win8. Installed it easily using the mini CD disk. I disabled the power-saver function at first so that it would not shut down while the laptop restart.Pros: The results were immediately. I had about 4 internet speed tests and this wireless usb adapter boosted the Dell's internet speed from 75 mbps to 80+ mbps! I also installed the same device on my desktop (also Windows 8) to see how it would perform and got the same type of results, have done a nice job. The adapter works fine itself and setup was really easy and quick.Actually, I didn’t like the pdf installation instructions seller provided, i think it more easier to set up just as the steps it indicated, but i still have to say i'm impressed with seller service.

Worked as expected. Needed this for my old desktop which is downstairs, worked without any issues.

One needs to load software from a CD onto your computer to begin to use the thing. Guess what?! My Mac doesn't have a CD slot. There's no way too download the program from the internet, so I'm screwed. The thing is too cheap to consider returning or trying to reselling it. I'll just consider it a loss of $20.
