I believe lactobacillus acidophilus is one of the bacteria native to the small intestine, which is good as I would prefer not to ingest bacteria that is only native to the large intestine and risk creating SIBO. I believe the product was potent and effective as the smell of my flatulence changed while taking these and my gut felt "eased".I was satisfied with the product, but didn't "love it" hence the 5 stars, I'm not sure what the company would have to do to make me "love it"... .. .I bought these to help improve my gut function and strengthen my immune system, and while the results were not incredible i'm sure there was a subtle health benefit conferred.There's an offer on the pack which says if I give a review I'll get "another free". After "1 meal a day" fasting and keto dieting (now 10 kilos lighter) I was having a few immediate tummy problems when eating my only meal of the day (green leaf, meat and high fat). If you are unfortunate enough to have to take antibiotics please take one of these at the same time.Until I discovered that antibiotic not only kill the bad bacteria but the good also, I could not understand why I felt so ill on antibiotics. Now I am aware of what the antibiotics do to you I will always take one of these with each tablet, they work a treat.Would recommend.

bought these instead of drinking the little bottles of probiotics as i can leave these in my drawer at work and take daily without forgetting. Im using these as part of a clean up program i am doing to ensure i am getting the best from what i am doing. After reading about good gut bacteria I decided to start adding pro biotic supplements. I chose this one based on the reviews and haven't been let down. I like that these are in a little pouch as aposes to a bottle that takes up more storage room. Ive been taking them for two weeks along with eating more veggies and yogurt and feel great!
