This grabber is a cheap imitation joke
I have bought plenty of grabbers over the year. I got this one because it looked like my last one, which lasted me years, but cost less. Big mistake. This one bent on day one, and I wasn't even trying to lift anything heavy! The frame is cheap, the grippers can't withstand anything more than paper, weight wise, but they won't pick up paper because they don't line up correctly. The squeeze trigger is too bulky compared to past ones I've had. So it takes extra strength to squeeze and hold because you can't get as tight a grip. Buyer beware, this is junk.

shorter than you think
competing products use a right angled "trigger" mechanism. this one uses a squeeze handle that's parallel to the tube of the grabber, and thus shortens the effective / apparent length by the width of your hand. For me, net, I only got an inch or two extra reach. Works well, but unfortunate design.

Great for combing the beach and using around the yard, it’ll save your back....
We comb the beach all the time, this Reacher is great to pick up stuff you wouldn’t want to normally. Only issue was the claw would jam if a little sand got into it. I few clicks and it was working again. Might have to get a second one... My cousin ended up keeping this one on me after our last vacation... He said it’ll come in handy to pickup stuff like twigs and shells on the beach.

Good product
It is sturdy and easy to use. It wasn’t made cheaply. I appreciate that so much. I have tried others and the broke easily. I recommend this one.

the one i had just like this i had for 15 years picking pine cones and limb up in my 2 acres of yard, i hope this one last as long and does as well. so far it has worked very well.

Doesn’t hold what you pick up.
This grabber doesn’t have any rubber grippers on the grabbing mechanism so what ever you grab slips out and falls. Poorly designed. Get the one with the two small suction-cup like rubber grippers on the ends, it’s a much better design that works.

Very difficult to squeeze if you aren’t really strong. Trying to pick up sticks blown off the trees but it is tough.
