Very cute…
My grandkids love using their new cooking TOOLS and we all feel good knowing they can’t cut themselves while using the knives! Lots of pieces to the set and well made!

Decent knife set for kids
I bought a similar knife for my 5 year old aspiring chef so I already knew how these would cut. I like that it has 4 knives of different sizes. The shaped cut outs and little food picks are really cute. There are 3 things I didn't like: the cutting board, the peeler, and the recipe cards. The cutting board is REALLY thin (see picture) and slides around. I put a washcloth under it to keep it from moving while he uses it. It's also small, even for him, to be able to cut fruits and veggies well on it so he uses my cutting board most of the time. The peeler is sharp! It doesn't seem designed specifically to be kid friendly. It's a regular peeler you would use yourself so be cautious when allowing a young child to handle it. The recipe cards have no recipes that actually utilize the tools in the box. Cupcake, cookie, cake...things with directions to just mix ingredients in a bowl.Overall, I like this set and it's reasonably priced (currently $13.99) to where I wouldn't have an issue purchasing another set for my other kid if she wanted it as well.

Teach them to cook!
I’m really happy with this learning knife set for my boys all ages under 9. One of my sons has mobility issues and this has been a relief to let him learn to cut various things with out risking his fingers! For adaptive needs, there are two larger handle choices with the crinkle cutter and wooden wedge knife. Both are easily manipulated by a mobility challenged child. I haven’t let him try the potato peeler yet, but think that will also be a safer option. The other knives have been easy and safe to use for all of my boys. Their favorite knife is the small green one.I feel the cutting board is a waste. It’s too small and hard for little hands to keep still. My boys use these knives on a larger more stable cutting boards. The shape cutters and picks are cute, but hold little interest to my boys. The recipe cards are not for us as most the recipes include processed foods.Over all, I’m highly satisfied and absolutely recommend this knife set!

Great set, but not all pieces are age 3
This is an adorable set, but as a parent of a young toddler, I would immediately pull out the metal wavy cutter and the peeler! The peeler could really hurt your little one. I really do love the set and my daughter will be ready for those tools one day, but certainly not yet. Everything else I think is great and really helps to get your young one involved in making lunch, dinner snack, etc. It helps the, with ownership too. I really love the wooden cutter. I think that is the best one to start them out with safe cutting. I do wish the whole set came with a container to keep it all in, but I’m just using a large Tupperware bin for now. Love the set, just pull out the metal parts for now.

Some Sharper and Less Safe Than Others
This sweet kitchen collection is intended as a gift for a granddaughter. I absolutely appreciate and smilingly so the inclusion of the recipes one can make with these tools.I wish there were more than three silicone muffin cups—hard to imagine a recipe that will fill just three. (May need to order more separately for her.)And while some of the tools—such as the plastic knives—seem to be relevantly sharp enough to function but not too sharp to be dangerous, others appear to be extremely sharp and not exactly useful for the same child teaching purposes. We shall proceed safely and see!

Kitchen Knife Set
This kitchen knife set is great for the smaller chiefs in the family. The kitchen knife set is sharp but not too sharp. The cutting board is a great addition to the set for the ones learning to prepare and cut food.

The number of usable pieces that comes in kit is amazing
We gave this to our 4 yr old God-son who has always loved helping his mom in the kitchen. He loves it. He feels like it's just for him. Love that it has so many usable pieces. Kid friendly. safe. Love it.
