this is my first Damascus knife. it's beautiful. the knife is well balanced. the handle has a good grip. it has been keeping it sharpness since I had it more than a week ago. I had someone asked about if there a box come with a box or not. yes, it does. it looks just like the one on the picture. this will make a great gift.

The knife is just great. I've used it to cut lobsters
The knife is just great. I've used it to cut lobsters, king crab and so on and it did a great job, anyone who works or worked with this type of food will know how hard they're shell is and this knife just cuts through it like butter. Delivery was very quick and the packaging is stunning.

Fabulous knife . . . recommended!
This is one spectacular 8" chef's knife! It's heavier than I expected, but it balances perfectly in my hand for both holding entirely on the handle and pinching the blade with thumb and finger for fine cutting. It came viciously sharp, so be careful! It easily passes the paper-slicing test. I'm out of tomatoes, but blade is so sharp that I bet this will slice thin enough to read a newspaper through the tomato slice. The only problem is that it's so pretty it almost should be hung on the wall as a piece of art. Recommended!
