MAS SPST Toggle Switch Wires On/Off Metal Mini Small Automotive/Boat/Car/Truck

I needed a very small 12 volt toggle for a valet switch. This worked perfect. Shipped fast and was just as advertised.

Ready to solder-up and works well. I used this for a fairly uncommon application. This switch was placed in-line with a lit arcade marquee sign. Now I can choose when I want it to be on or off instead of just being on just because the arcade cabinet is plugged in....

Very small toggle switch

The description states 12v DC, however there are only AC ratings stamped on the switch. How many amps is this rated for DC? Is there arc protection for the contacts? I will have to assume this switch is being incorrectly advertised as a DC switch, until the seller or manufacturer comes here and demonstrates how this is designed to be a DC switch. Typically a DC switch will use a "snap" to instantaneously open the circuit, to prevent an arc, and this switch has no snap. Using an AC switch not rated for DC, in a DC circuit can cause a fire due to arcing between contacts, and serious injury or death.

Switch is very small & fit in a shallow 1/4" cavity. (though I did have to bend the wires right at the base and it was a tight fit). The red switch covering comes off easily too.

Quick delivery, good price. I looked at all the usual places trying to find this switch until I realized I should be looking on Amazon.

I bought this switch for my Ebike headlight it fits perfectly in the light bracket and it works good.
