No way!
The description of this product and the photos online are not at all what I got. They seriously need to be more accurate in their description of this chain. It is TINY and FLIMSY!It's going back. There is no way you should spend $49.99 for this whatsoever. Search again for another or better yet go to a jewelry store and pick one out :)I'm giving it one star because it arrived quickly. That's it.

Nice and dainty piece of gold jewelry (just please overhaul your product description)
This is a nice and dainty necklace extender, probably best combined with necklaces that are equally dainty.Produuct-wise, I don't see any reason to complain. For interested buyers I'd recommend: Take a close look at the measurements, to make a truly informed decision. It's worth to look at some of the very helpful reviews (according to one, the weight of the extender is 0.15 g, which means the current gold value would currently amount to just under 7 USD.)I am, however, a bit confused regarding the product description:- It states "Italy" as the country of origin, but the package clearly says "Made in China"- The product description (currently) says "Solid 14K Gold Extender Not Plating】18K real gold," which I find rather confusingSo, I heavily rely on the accuracy on product description, I I'd like to encourage the seller to overhaul the writing. Thanks :)

Fragile Chain
It’s too fragile for the charm bracelet I have, I need a stronger chain

Perfect extender for a VERY dainty chain (very dainty chain)
My wife has a few yellow gold necklace chains, some more dainty than others. I've purchased extenders for some of her thicker chains, but she didn't have a good match for her thinnest chain -- when I saw this come up, figured it'd be perfect. It is. While this is not SPOT on to the thickness of the chain, it's very close.Sometimes she wears just the chain by itself, but sometimes wants to wear a small pendant with it (and so she wants it to hang a little lower); this allows her to now have both options for that particular necklace. With her shoulder-length hair, you can't tell that there's an extender on it.Works great (the clasp is a little cumbersome because it's so small, and especially since her dainty chain has a small hole as well...I guess it just goes with the territory when it comes to thinner chains) and is a great option for adding an additional up-to-2-inches in length.

Minuscule and delicate. Listing photo makes it look bigger.
This is an itsy bitsy teeny weenie yellow gold necklace extender...and I do mean teeny. It's maybe 2" long and the chain is roughly the diameter of a small dressmaker's pin. If all your jewelry is of the hair-thin "dainty" chain variety, maybe this will work for you. Definitely not for use with any sort of substantial pendants or chains. I don't think I would trust it on most of my necklaces...afraid it'll break and I'll lose the whole necklace. Oh well.

Delicate… great for adding length to my other delicate pieces
Was hard to see the stamp, but maybe my eyes are just getting bad. I was able to see it under my microscope. It’s quite delicate, but perfect for adding length to all of my other delicate pieces. I wouldn’t keep it on in my sleep. I have a snake chain that needs kinks removed. It’ll shorten the length once they cut them all out so this will help me be annle to wear it at its original length. Certainly cheaper than having the jewelers add to the necklace. At least with an extender, I can switch them to other pieces as I need them. I also have an anklet that is too tight when my ankles swell. I am able to fold the link in half just to add an inch rather than two. Again it’s delicate so I don’t wear it with pants or anything that may tug on it hard. It’s working out great so far.
