I’d look for a different top if I were you. This is baggy in the neckline and very clingy through the midsection and hips. It’s also itchy on the inside.

I hope you get answers specifically about 2X, but the medium I bought was true to size. I felt like it was generously cut. It barely touches me anywhere which is exactly what I wanted in a tunic. It's fairly thin but soft and warm. I am 5'8" and it just covers my rear. I bought a couple more colors.

I'm not sure what to tell you as I am only 5'1" and weigh 155 lbs. and I got an XL which fits fine....not tight.
