Was looking for a Bowie knife and found this. I love it! Very good quality and beautiful to look at. Quite heavy.

The knife appears to be pretty well made, I believe its stainless steel, full hilt. Comes pretty sharp. My only issue is the sheath, it feels durable but the button clasp on the inside is rough which will mar up the mirror finish of the blade. I'd recommend gluing a thin piece of felt to the inside to keep it from scratching up the blade.

Not bad at all especially if wall hanger. It's not true and proper full tang technically but I knew that when purchased. Home defense will work no problem, but I wouldn't take it bear hunting or chop camping at all, as this is just hammered expansion into brass end with thin piece through handle. For money and knowing what I was buying up front I cannot complain and if only cutting stuff this would likely last many many years. No hard use though as I don't think it takes much to easily loosen or even separate handle from blade entirely... Also I don't think at all it's D2 steel, it feels like at most a 3CR13MOV not even 420 honestly, however I expected that before I bought it at this price especially. Good item and looking for sure though if you know all this going into it. If had all the things I mentioned like true full handle tang and was real D2 I'd say easy best bargain online though is ok the way it is when you know and are shopping for looks alone. Decent in that area only. User, not really. I would buy again though for wall fancy item that looks as decent as this one. No I wouldn't be misled if I saw from ten feet away, I'd see the tang and know it's a wall thing only and at most would protect me from unarmed intruder or armed perhaps if your better and faster I guess... Good product and would be great if Real D2 as this absolutely cannot be or it's the worst heat treated D2 ever made. Ok for me and reason I bought it though.

Seems sturdy..very nice appearance

Looks cool, blade wobbles and isn't very sturdy. The handle is also uncomfortable due to the downward facing hand gaurd.
