I could not wait to write a review on these items. They are amazing. The pens do not bleed through to where you can't read the other side of the page so that is a plus. I am sure if you pressed excessively or held the pen in place for a period of time, it would bleed through just as any other felt tip would. The gel like highlighters are even better. The color schemes for them are super cute and light enough to see through the highlighting of the text. I use these for highlighting and underlining in my Bibles and they work really well. A beginner's tip, if you are not highlighting, place the cap back on the tip of the pens AND highlighters. The air can dry them out a BIT until you start to highlight again. It can leave a smug at the beginning of the highlighted sentence. This has happened with all gel highlighter that I have had. Worth the purchase still!

Some of the pens do not write like they are out of ink, but the ones that do write fluidly and the highlighters are nice.

Love the colors! Pens glide across the paper. I use these for my bible study and I love them. Wish they had other colors too but these are great. Bag is great too!

I LOVE these highlighters. However the pens are not great. I have a hard time getting them to write in my Bible. But the highlighter colors make up for it

This is a great set of pens/highlighters. The highlighters are easy to use and don't bleed through due to it not being a marker and gel. That being said, I don't necessarily like that it's more like a crayon highlighter.. but it works for what I use it for. The bag it came with is really handy and cute too. Love the colors-- I've used both the pens and highlighters in my bible and on my work calendar.

These were just what I was looking for. Pens and highlighters that go together and have a carrying case..?! Perfect! I haven’t had any bad experiences with it bleeding through my Bible. Smooth, readable, dries relatively quickly.

When comparing Bible highlighters in general, it can be difficult to know exactly what the colors will look like on your paper until you buy it and open it. When I first received my Shuttle Art pens, I was so excited because the colors are beautiful and they have a lot of different shades than other brands I use. Which is the main reason why I ordered them.HOWEVER, HOWEVER, HOWEVER…after using them for about 30 min. I shook my head and threw them in the trash.* most of the Shuttle Art Gel Pens did smudge: both when highlighting over a printed page & when highlighting over writing made with a regular pen.* None of the other brands that I’ve used smudged over printed words, although, when highlighting over writing made with a regular pen it seemed common; BUT all you need to do is give it 30 sec to dry, then they don’t smudge at all.* the material can be clumpy which makes my paper look messy.* THEY DON’T fit into a regular sized pencil sharpener & they need resharpened more frequently than others.* about 4 of the 10 colors wrote so thick that you couldn’t see the print or written text underneath.* most don’t consistently write as soothly as other brand I use.

These are crayons not highlighters at all! What a waste of money. They are very messy to use!
