A GREAT steal for the price, especially for 4K and HDR.
Update: a year later and i seem to be having hdcp handshake problems after unplugging cables to rearrange my entertainment center. Before, e erything worked fine. Now, the most used devices (xbox one, ps4, switch) require me to turn the tv off and on again. The ports on the tv work fine if tbe individual devices are wired directly in. Time to find a new splitter.Original review: Works as described. My Xbox One S and Sheild TV both detect 2160P (4K) with HDR and no drop outs or sync issues like my monoprice blackbird "4K" switch, which only does 4k@30. Also, HDMI CEC commands appear to work, as it does auto switch between inputs. Will probably grab another so I can ditch the monoprice garbage switch.Small update: If you have an Nvidia Shield TV, disable HDMI CEC on it, and every few minutes I noticed the switch would change to the Shield's input and back. Also, my PS4 would turn on whenever I selected the HDMI switch's input on my TV. Considering everything else works perfect, this are more non-issues that are fixed by shutting off HDMI-CEC and said devices.

Worked as Live, Real-Time Video Projection switcher for concert.
Used this for live video projection for an organ concert in a church. The organ is located above and behind everyone so we set up a screen for the audience to watch the organ action in front of them. Setup: two live cameras (tested and worked with all these cameras in various combinations Canon 7D, Canon Vixia HXR600, Go Pro Hero 4 Silver) > HDMI to SDI Black Magic converter > 200 foot run of SDI > Black Magic converter SDI to HDMI > projector at the front of the Church. There is an ever-so-slight (barely perceptible) lag, but it's close enough to real time that it didn't bother anyone in the audience - speaking into the camera came off just fine sync wise. The switching was indeed seamless at most resolutions, but not at 1080p where I would get a blue flicker between switches (this may be because of some other issue in my signal chain, probably not the fault of the switcher). The remote was useful.

Just what I needed !
Exactly what I needed works perfectly with my Samsung 4K TV also works with my Xbox one S and my PS4 pro The exact reason why I got it my tv only got one hdmi Port on the back that did 4K at 60hz. no lag and The when switching from one two or three does not take long at all I'm pretty happy so far but I only had it for a little.

Great quality and functionality
This saves the trouble of unplugging hdmi cords. Now I can set everything and forget it.The remote that this comes with makes switching easy.Expect to do some trouble shooting to make the sound work. It's very loud for my computer andNintendo Wii; quiet for my PS3.PS3 has an audio setting that I had to tinker with.

1 faulty one, 1 perfect
I received the switch and I couldn't get a solid 4k signal, even using short HDMI cables. I returned it and the company offered to ship another one free of charge. Turns out I just got a faulty unit. The new one they shipped me works perfectly, I appreciate the customer service made my experience go from disappointed/frustrated to impressed/happy.As far as a specific review of the switch: I'm using it 1(1ft cable) in 2 out from a PS4 Pro, with a 10-12 foot cable going to a 1080p monitor and the other a 3 foot cable to a 4k HDR television. I'm getting the correct resolution on both and the PS4 registering the signal as 4k HDR HDMI 2.2.I have another switch that did the same thing but had a springy button that eventually stopped clicking all the way in when trying to switch. So I like the fact that this switch has an actual left/right switch on it that doesn't *seem like could malfunction too easily. All in all, pleased with the product, works for my use case.

Good product, use short cables or an amplifier
Product worked as advertised and allowed connection to my UHD TV and 3D projector. Other products would downgrade the connections, allowing only 1080p without 3D on both devices. Since this device only physically connects to one display, it gets the proper information from the display to the source. It was difficult to get a 4K signal to my TV. There is enough signal degradation through the switch that 4K signal was initially hit or miss. Fiddling with the settings on my Xbox one, I was able to get the TV and Xbox connected with a 4K signal. There is still occasions where the 4K connection is skipping or only at 30FPS. All cables I am using worked without issue without the switch installed. I will update this review once I have an amplifier installed, but am confident shorter cables or an amplifier will solve the issues I am having with 4K. This is not the fault of the switch, the switch works as designed as long as the cable lengths and quality recommendations are followedThere is enough signal strength through the switch that I can send a 60hz 3D 1080p signal over a 30ft HDMI cable with no issues.I have not switched displays with the displays and source powered. I turn all equipment off, switch displays, then turn on the Xbox one and the desired display. Works wonderfully.

does the trick for PSVR
works as intended - easier than pulling and re-plugging HDMI cables from my PSVR and PS4 Pro, when I want to use 4K resolution.now I just have to flip the switch on this box, and change to different input on my TV. (as others mentioned, switching works best when PS4 is off).Sony really dropped the ball for 4K TV owners just to save a few dollars in their PSVR I/O box... was shortsighted of them because the PS4 Pro was released almost simultaneously.

I bought this to switch between my VR and PRO... It worked for about 4 months before it stopped working. I probably only used it a dozen times. It is affordable..

Works with everything except computers
It works great for the UHD/HDR devices I have (Roku Premiere+ and Xbox One X) -- no signal interruptions or dropped picture like the other HDMI switch I had.

Right switch for psvr passthrough. Mostly.
This switch is almost exactly what I needed to prevent unplugging my PS4 pro and plugging in my psvr every time I want to play it.

Performed as advertised but is not compatible with Logitech harmony remotes
Switcher works as advertised. It handles HDMI 2.0 and hdcp 2.2 protocols. Provides a very clear tv picture and extracted audio is in sync with video.

The 4K HDR signal keeps getting dropped every few minutes
I bought this to switch outputs between my 4K Sony Bravia HDR10 TV and my Epson 1080p LCD projector. The input was from an Apple TV 4K.
