Bought this to go with toy construction site and vehicles so my grandson could scoop up sand with his digger came in little bag just enough for him to use glad i found this size of bag only needed a handful was a nice bright orange saved me having to buy expensive big bag xxx

Ordered some to replace the sand in my Zen garden. It is a little finer than the original sand but it's a perfectly fine alternative. Two bags was just the right amount too.

This sand is very finely ground, and won't be fit for a lot of purposes. For example, it's too fine for aquariums, but then it's not sold as aquarium sand. I use it for my art, adding texture to my paint, and also as a base for incense charcoal.It is very, very white, and is more finely ground than sable salt. I am very pleased with it, although it is a bit expensive for how much you get.I hope you found these comments helpful :)

Have a pendulum sand art thingie and this is perfect for it

I wanted black sand for a Sensory box for my toddler. It was black and it was sand, but the colouring transfers. My child played with both hands and feet and toys and all had been stained by the sand, but luckily it doesn’t seem to stain clothes! And everything was wipeable clean, it’s just a faff.Also, for me 200g sounds like a lot but I bought 400g hoping I would have excess and it was still quite thin on the bottom of the tray. I know that’s my own fault for not knowing what the quantity would turn out like, but just a little heads up for anyone thinking of doing the same thing.Apart from that it was good.

Nice fine sand that was great for making some textured paint.
