I was super excited to get this adorable pouch for a friend for Christmas. However, I quickly found out that the “liner” melts when in comes in contact with heat!! What the heck. It also comes with a card that says “recommended you let heat tool cool prior to use”. Ok, if I let it cool then what is the point of your product as advertised? Furthermore, I emailed the company directly with my complaint complete with photos and I did not receive an email back. Save your money and pick a different product.

This thing is so great! It's so durable and user friendly. I honestly couldn't be more happy with this. I have it in my gym bag and use it every morning! It's great because it opens up to a decent sized "place mat" if you will. I never waste a second on waiting for my straightener to cool down..just put it in and use the velcro for the cord and it's back in the gym bag! I have a 1.5 inch straightener with an extra long cord so it's not really big enough once it's closed to put a full size hair brush in it but it definitely doesn't both me. I would recommend to anyone! Honestly considering buying a backup one just in case or for travels so I don't have to take the one out of my gym bag.

I purchased this case hoping that it would fit both my curling iron and flat iron. It really only fits my curling iron which has two detachable wands, but I love the fact that it has separate pockets to keep everything organized and the cord stays nice. I lay my hot wand on the flat silver end to allow it to cool and it works great. It seems to be made well and I love the hot pink... very girly. Extremely pleased, just need a separate smaller case now for my flat iron.

I ordered this for when we travel. I don't always have time to let my flat irons cool before we have to pack, or when we are on a cruise, with the small bathrooms, I do my hair in the cabin and not the bathroom where the counter is not heat resistant. This works great for both instances. I use 2 different size flat irons for my hair and they both fit nicely in the pocket. Having the velcro to hold the cords is a nice addition that not all covers have. It's a good size and holds everything for doing my hair in one spot.

Bought this to replace an old sleeve and thought it would be heat resistant if you place a hot curler on the silver lining on the inside when you open it, but it just warped it. Disappointed. Needless to say, returned it.

I bought this cover for travel, I wanted to be able to use my flat iron pack and go, however this product does come with a card inside telling you to let the flat iron etc! Cool down first. I will have to see how this product wears.

I wanted a case to fit my curling wand with multiple attachments. It has one handle with a long cord, and then three wands of different barrel widths that attach to the handle. This case has enough room to fit all four components and still velcro closed. I haven't tested whether it's truly heat resistant, though I know others have said that it's not. For my purposes, the amount of space it allows was more important than the heat resistance.

This works exactly as I had hoped! Unfolded it serves as a matt to protect my countertop, when finished I roll it up nice and neat and throw it in my luggage. Separate pockets for a comb, clips, etc. Love it! Edited to add: It does say right in the description this is not heat resistant, so don’t lay your flat iron on it when it’s at 400 degrees, let it cool down first. 😉

This carrying case is not bad if your curling iron has been off for a minimum of 10- 15 minutes it is not recommended to use this when it curling irons have just been recently unplugged for the last 2 or 3 minutes it melts the heat resistance layer
