I broke my non-contact voltage tester changing the batteries (dropped it) -- I wanted a replacement and realized this unit was around the same price as the dedicated NC testers -- there is occasionally a slight delay before getting a reading or a beep but not a big deal -- I have hand tremors so getting the nibs to hold in place is a little frustrating but not the fault of the meter -- my testing was against 2 other inexpensive meters that I have -- the voltages were the same -- did not go overboard -- only DCV tested with a car battery and smaller AAA - AA - and the disk type batteries in some smaller remotes -- ACV with normal wall outlets -- Ohm tested with a couple of resistors I had laying around -- did not remember the color code and didn't look it up -- just looking to see if the readings matched up meter to meter -- I particularly like the "Live" test mode where you can use the meter without the black lead attached and quickly see if the Hot terminal is hot and the other two are not, eliminating the need to carry around one of the plug in polarity testers -- this meter is packed with features and a quick learning curve -- a not so Pro Tip is when using the non-contact setting you won't usually get a beep with the cover plate on but if you touch the screws in the plate you should get the beep -- I like that the battery cover is screwed in place so it won't pop off if dropped -- the flash light is only bright enough to light up the area that you are trying to touch with the Positive nib -- the Backlight is plenty bright enough (blue) -- I like everything about the meter and see no reason not to order

Nice for keeping in the saddlebag of a motorcycle with other small tools.

Very compact. I like the auto selection feature. It will measure AC, & DC voltages, Ohms automaticlay without having to select each function.It only gets 4 stars because when holding the unit in your hands with the display facing you, your thumb is right on the power button and I tend to turn it off when using it.

Very nice "pen" style multimeter. Easy to use, appears to be a quality device. I like that it is a 6000 count display, instead of the 4000 count devices I passed by to order this one. I've only used it twice, but found it to be very convenient and easy to use.

Excellent multimeter! I was able to measure the line frequency in Hz, which was important for me to do and was able to have a device that can do that a great price!

Not what I thought it was I was just looking for a probe that will tell me if the line is hot. This is a full-blown multimeter in miniature. And if I use it enough and read the instructions I may actually figure it out but until then continuity is about the only thing I'm going to check. The only fault I have with the unit itself is its cumbersome to do all these things a multimeter does with just two buttons

This voltmeter is way easier to use than the traditional two lead voltmeter. It only needs two hands to use. No extra clamps or third hand. The operation of this voltmeter is very intuitive. The screen is easy to read. Highly recommend.
