Great console for emulated games!
This console comes pre-loaded with games, and has a microSD card that can be removed to install firmware updates. The package also came with a screen protector, which was surprisingly very easy to apply.I tested out several of the consoles, and they worked well - Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Gameboy Advance, Dreamcast, and Playstation 1. They all run on RetroArch, and the animation and gameplay were smooth. The only issue I had was with the video settings on the Super Nintendo - every game looked blurry. But the problem was solved by turning off the video shaders. As a quick guide to turning off shaders: load the SNES game, open the system menu (M button), go to Quick Menu, scroll down to Shaders, and set Video Shaders to OFF. You can make this the default for SNES by setting it as an override that will apply for all SNES games. For those curious about the size, this console is a little bigger than the actual Gameboy SP. I’ve included a couple of photos for reference.Mine came with firmware version 1.0.5, but I was able to download the newest firmware from the company’s website. The update process was confusing, but I followed an online video tutorial to get it updated. The update process will wipe the microSD card, so make a copy of the games and save files before updating. Even though I made a copy of the games, the GBA games got corrupted and would not work when I put them back on the SD card. Updating the firmware isn’t required, so update at your own risk. I did all my testing straight out of the box with version 1.0.5, and everything was great.

SWEET handheld emulator!
Okay, crisp screen, responsive controls, and friendly user interface make this an easy recommendation for a retro/emulator enthusiast.Price point is reasonable as well, just bear in mind that while it's user friendly, it does require you to read the instructions/prompts within the emulator engines, etc.BUT...if you're on the fence...DO IT, buy it now, you'll love it.And remember, ROM responsibly.
