Handy Gourmet No- Spill Ice Cube Tray, Regular, Blue

perfect for my small freezer

Getting ice turned into a 10 minute ordeal. There was absolutely NO way to get ice out of tray without heating the bottom with hot (not warm) water. NOW, i have a job of keeping the floor dry from water dripping from tray. This is too much effort for ice! I never imagined that buying ice trays would be so challenging. I will see how I feel getting my 2nd glass of water with ice, thinking about returning this $10 tray. Five days later. Though I think it takes too much effort to get ice, I do like that the ice seems to last 24 hours in my yeti cup - that's a win for this ice tray.

Not a HUGE fan of this only because the cubes are harder to get out vs other silicone trays. This one has a hardened plastic edge on it, so it’s tough to get the ice cubes passed it sometimes!Also while the lid with the flip top is a great feature to fill the tray from, it’s not evenly dispersing water into each cube. My bf filled it for the first time this way, and we had just one solid block ice the size of the tray. Melted it down, drained it a little, and good to go. However we do not use the lid to the tray at all now.

This is the only ice cube tray I’ll ever buy. I currently have one for ice and one for coffee cubes so my iced coffee doesn’t get watered down. The lid is amazing and the tray doesn’t leave an aftertaste like an all-silicone tray I used to use.One thing that I’ve found is the the cubes in the center can be a bit more difficult to remove. I just press the bottom on the edge of the counter and the ice pops right out.Ice cubes trays are such a small thing, but I really do think these are worth the extra money!

I love this tray because it gives me nice large cubes so although it only makes 8 at a time I use 1-2 at a time. I love the silicone bottom which really helps push the cubes out. You do have to be careful not to overfill because then it hard to release. I just run under some water to wear it down a bit till I can push out, if you fill just right it comes out easily. I hope to buy another. I dont really fill through the hole in the lid because I want to see what I'm doing but the lid really helps to stack or put other things on top and not worry about spillage. I plan to but 1-2 more trays.

HUGE FAN. I’ve tried a few other types of silicone trays and these are definitely my favorite.I love the size of the cubes- they’re perfect for making your water cold to hit the trail with (as long as you’ve got a flask or an insulated container with a wide mouth) or for making yourself an old-fashioned.To remove your cubes, easily press against the bottom of the tray at the edges and they lift right out. It’s even easier when you sit the tray on the counter for a minute before you remove the ice.One thing you don’t want to do is overfill or else you’ll have a block of ice that’s very hard to remove and the trays are sturdy with the top attached so they seem to need more time to freeze. Otherwise simple to use and clean.

I like the large ice cubes this makes and the top works great due to being transparent (so that you can see how full the spaces are getting when filling it with water). Be careful not to overfill as then the ice blocks all freeze together and it is more challenging to get them out. Sometimes the cubes stick under the side ledge, but it is still easier to remove them than some other flexible ice trays with lids. I would purchase this again.

I haven't used it yet, but I purchased it to use for leftover chicken and beef stock. I make a lot of soups and always have leftover stock. It can only be saved in the fridge for a week. So this way I can make some nice big cubes and once frozen, place them in a freezer bag for later use, especially if I only need a small bit of stock for a recipe.

Would have got 5 stars but didn't get the cube tray like the picture, I got the extra large cube tray which is ok for a pint glass.

Perfect for chilly bottles

Well made. Easy to use. No mess. No fuss. Just don’t overfill and they pop out whole.
