Good quality
Nice quality, ready to use right out of the box with no assembly required. It takes a good bit of effort to lift with 2 26” monitors. I am 6’2” and it’s not tall enough for me. The keyboard level is useless at my height. I will be adding 6” spacers on the desk surface to sit this unit on in order to get to the proper working height for me. This should bring the keyboard surface to the proper height. With the complaints I have, I still have no regrets on buying. None of the units I shopped raised high enough for me so I knew I would have to modify whatever I bought. I have been using for 3 days and already notice improved posture and increase in energy. Go ahead and buy a supportive mat while you’re at it, you’ll need it to stand on!

No tools needed
Easy to set up, just pull it out of the box and set it on your desk. If you lack upper body strength and height I could see it being a struggle to raise it but I didn't. I mostly bought it because I move every 4-5 years and was tired of fighting with the office to get one, this way I can just move it with me when I move. Difficult to scratch and easy to clean, although I will say that dust bunnies are noticeable just solely because it is black. I recommend this product.

Great for the price
I love the riser itself. However I ordered it on a Thursday because it said it would arrive Sunday...it didn’t arrive until following Tuesday. Just wish shipping would have been better. Overall though the product is great!

Works, but the supports are too long.
The piece for holding the keyboard is huge and too high up to be ergonomic, so I just removed it. You need a pretty big screw-driver, but the keyboard shelf came off fairly easily. Even with that, the supports on the bottom stick out way too far and were hanging off of my desk, so I had to reverse the whole thing to make it work. It might fit better on a bigger or traditional rectangular desk, but I've used other riser/converters before and the bottom pieces were not nearly as long. The sturdiness is OK, but for my model you have to be careful because putting too much pressure on it makes it collapse. It appears other people had the opposite issue and it is almost impossible to adjust the height. That all said, this model is a lot cheaper than others, but you get what's you pay for. (My other one was over $250 and works excellently.)

BEWARE!! Pretty color but Hard to lift.
Let’s start off with the pros:- Pretty color- Comes preassemble- Build quality seems decentUnfortunately, that’s about all the nice things I can say about it, there are some pretty major cons:- The latch to lift the table is really hard to use. Even out of the box the latch was incredibly hard to squeeze.- When trying to adjust the desk from the lowest position, the desk can sometimes get “caught” before you make it to the first preset height level. This means if you go in trying to adjust the height, the desk will let you lift it a little before a latch is caught and you basically have to drop the the desk. This only happens at the lowest level so if you have the desk at of any of the preset heighten positions the mechanism will be smooth. But it’s so dangerous especially if you don’t expect it since you can easily pull a muscle.- The springs are essentially nonexistent. I agree with the other review where if you have a back or shoulder injury, you should not get this. In order to adjust the height, you basically have to lift the weight of this desk + the full weight of your monitor and whatever else you have on this. The springs do not offset any weight at all. The good thing is when you squeeze the latch the desk won’t shoot up (bc there’s basically no spring). The bad news is it’s really heavy to move up and down. And if you have this thing at full height you’d have to be careful setting it down because otherwise it will come crashing down.- I wouldn’t count this as a con, but just FYI, I would not lean on this. The desk feels pretty solid even at the highest height, but that’s only if you don’t add any more pressure to it. If you lean on just one side of the desk, I’ve had the desk collapse a few levels. I would be careful about weight distribution on the desk and just not put my body weight against the desk at all.Overall I would not buy this again. If this wasn’t so big and heavy I totally would return this.Honestly, the price for a desk this size is a steal compared to other desk converters on Amazon, but it comes at a cost. This thing is so heavy to lift that I end up just siting at my desk so I don’t have to adjust the height, which completely defeats the whole purpose of buying this thing in the first place. On top of being heavy the latch is really hard to use and the desk sometimes resist adjustments. If you’re not careful it’s easy to get injured. Beware!

Good product, poor packaging
This is the second Halter Standing Desk I've purchased. The ED-700 design is improved over the previous version. The box section crossbars on the base improve rigidity. It's easy to raise an lower; the layout of the two levels is good; and it is stable. One complaint is the packaging; it is poorly protected and mine suffered cosmetic damage in transit. There is a 1/4" chip out of the laminate top near the back. In my case this is partialy hidden by my monitor and it's not worth the aggravation of returning it.

Easy to set-up, trouble raising desk.
Desk is easy to set-up and the color is close enough to my offices furniture. Fit's two monitors well and in my case a dual monitor mount. My only complaint is the base is not heavy enough so when you raise the desk the base will come with it sometimes.
