This Unisource TSC PTFE chemical hose assembly is suitable for chemical or gas transfer operations. It is constructed with a nonconductive smooth-bore PTFE (polytetrafluorethylene) tube for resistance to chemicals and high temperatures, and a cover reinforced with a single braid of 300 series stainless steel to provide the strength for its maximum pressure rating. This hose exceeds Compressed Gas Association (CGA) Standard E.9 for flexible, PTFE-lined pigtail hoses for compressed gas service and has a minimum burst pressure rating four times that of its maximum working pressure rating, also known as a 4:1 safety factor. It can withstand temperatures ranging from -65 to +450 degrees F, and comes equipped with two factory-installed brass female Joint Industry Council (JIC) fittings. This hose assembly is suitable for a wide variety of commercial and industrial applications, including automotive, gas conveyance, food processing, pharmaceutical, chemical transfer, or other applications where the chemical and heat requirements exceed the protections offered by rubber, metal, or plastic hose.Industrial hoses transfer or convey air or liquid in hose systems. Well built and aesthetically pleasing
I'm using this in a home carbonation system. Fits home brewing style MFL connectors and seals excellently without requiring much tightening. Much more aesthetically pleasing and sturdy than the hose clamped plastic tube that's usually used.

Quality, but not quick
The products looked like good quality, but time will tell with use. The product had Amazon Prime shipping, but it did not all come quickly. I got several hoses within 2 days, but it took about 2 weeks to fulfill the remainder of the order. I received no less than 8 boxes for 20 hoses, which must have meant that they were assembled in different locations or someone wanted to pad the UPS numbers. I had 4 boxes arrive the same day. Not happy with the quantity of containers when they all would have fit in one box. Waste of time to track how many were received and how many remained. Would rather have shipped in full and knew there was a 2 week wait.

Looked like I was not getting my usual vacuum
I was using this to evacuate a chamber with a vacuum pump. Looked like I was not getting my usual vacuum. After trying to find a leak elsewhere and realizing that did not work, swapped out the hose and the problem vanished. Conclusion -Seems to have a very slow leak. Did not want to go through inconvenience of returning. Maybe Chemical hoses are not designed to be vacuum hoses so 3 stars instead of lower.
