Took on a 2 month Europe trip. Worked great.Compact.

We visited Argentina and Chile, which both have very different power outlets and this little guy worked like a charm! We use it to charge our laptops and use the usb for our phones.It’s been such a peace of mind knowing you can travel somewhere and not worry about power outlets.It comes with its own case and is very light and small compared to so many others.Highly recommended!

Got this adapter for trips to various parts of the world. On a recent trip to east Africa I found that the outlets there frequently included a small rocker switch to control power availability. The outline of this adapter was frequently large enough to hit this rocker switch and tun it off when i'd need the power to be on. Also, don't know what a "smart" USB port is but it's NOT a high speed port. Other than that, no problems.

Update-Took to UK again and slide control got stuck and couldn’t retract UK mode. Saw another review said that too. Sad because now it doesn’t fit in the case AND you can’t use the other country plugsSo glad I purchased and did away with the bag of multiple plugs!!!! Used in Paris recently and it works like a dream and love the zipper box it comes with!

Besides the different plug configurations, the 4 usb ports kept all of our groups phones charged

The travel adapter works exactly as promised. I used this on my recent trip to Greece, worked seamlessly across hotels, airports, and ferries. The shockproof protective case was a nice touch and extremley useful, making it easy to just drop into the backpack.
