Q: I bought this from you on feb 6 of 2017 and it has stopped cooling my computer. Do they only work for a year?

The turbo feature on mine stopped working in a week

Q: Why are there two USB ports?

USB ports on laptops are fairly scarce on some models, so this adds the functionality of turning one port into 2 ports, and thus adds another bonus to having the cooling stand.

Q: Does it come w/ its own usb cord and will it be long enough to plug into my usb port which is on the side front of my laptop Dell inspiron?

It comes with its own USB cord,, the USB slot is at the centre in the back so the cord might be just enough to reach the side front. If not you can always use a chord that's around the house is :)

Q: I have HP envy 15.6" will this fit perfectly or will hang out?

I have a 2006-7 Dell Inspiron 1720 (17"), and side to side it fits perfect. With the back aligned to cooler, the front hangs off less than an inch, but that fine with me, because it provides a wrist resting place at a comfortable angle.
